Vibrant and Convenient, but Adhesive Weakness Could be a Factor
I recently purchased the 10M Alexa LED Strip Lights and I'm overall quite impressed. One of the standout features is how bright these lights are, they really add a nice pop of color to any room. Another great feature is the ability to set up timer functions in the app, which makes it easy to have the lights turn on and off automatically without having to manually adjust them. Setting up the lights was a breeze, the instructions were clear and straightforward. However, one downside I've experienced is that the adhesive doesn't seem to be strong enough in damper conditions. I have these lights installed in my bathroom, and after a few weeks, the adhesive started to peel away from the walls. I've had to reapply it a few times, but it's not a major issue. Overall, I would highly recommend these lights if you're looking for an easy-to-install and bright LED strip light option. Just keep in mind that the adhesive may not hold up as well in damper environments.

Amazing app & sync features. Very bright
Second best smarthome thing I have (beaten by the Vacuum). I have over 50 smart devices in the lan and these impressed me. On the basic side they are your standard waterproof leds with very sticky thick glue, I literally have 1" every 50cm exposed and they hold up. I cant really say much about the lights, they're the standard led, standard credit card remote, a laptop sized psu and some extra clips. The software however is what makes these. You can scan a colour and it will match it, either by pressing the button or constantly updating. (Cheap ambilight? :) ) You can activate the mic and it will dim/light to the sound which I found slightly laggy but that could be the distance I have it from the router, everything in the area I have the reciever runs quite slow. You can play musin in the app and do the same, this is a LOT more responsive. There are 2x 5m and it's a lot of leds, its bright enough to replace 2x normal led 7w bulbs. The only issue with at is that I dont think they are true white, so mixed rgb, and it gives out a blue ish white. So look out for rgb + w or rgbcw if you want white white. But for the rgb and the app they're worth every penny. I'll definitely getting some more for my shelving. Just realised the pictures are not at full brighness

Great set of LED lights
I was a little bit doubtful about these lights at first. When they arrived I lined them around my room ceiling and ran the wires down a corner of the room securing them in place with the given brackets. They are bright and the controller works perfectly. I actually use these more than my main room lights as these are brighter and I feel more relaxed with the different hues. The only problem I have with these lights is with the adhesive strips. They have been peeling off but I secured it with some double sided tape and it is fine now. I love the fact these lights also have connectors at the ends but they are a lil big and bulky.

Excellent value at reduced price.
Excellent value at reduced price £32.99 but not so sure at full price of £70.98. Instructions on cutting/joining would have been helpful but there's always the internet to refer to so not a major problem unless of course you don't have internet. Setting up to operate by the remote is simple, just plug in and go. Set up with the app takes a little more patience and time but is relatively straightforward. Set up with Alexa was a bit of a pain taking a couple of hours trying different things due to a lack of guidance but I got there eventually. I have the lights concealed in my conservatory for background ambient lighting and they are very effective. Being able to alter the brightness and colour means the light can be altered to match the mood of the moment. Even on full they are not excessively bright. The control means you can steplessley reduce or increase the brightness from full to off and vice versa. If you need to route around corners you will need angled joints in addition to this kit as the strip is not overly flexible. In conclusion, nice lights, good value at the reduced price and a pleasing addition to time spent relaxing with a glass of wine and a good book.

Update: Piss Poor At A Push
The ALED LIGHT RGB LED Strips are advertised as being usable with smart home devices. While this may be true, a tedious pairing process that is writhe with faults, such as the WiFi connector shutting off, randomly disconnecting during pairing or just plainly going offline as soon as it gets paired to the app means that there is no way that you could ever call this product "Smart". Another issue with this product is the terrible quality four pin connector, Due to the construction, the female connector offers no retention for the pins on the male connector and as such the pins slide out with ease leading to the strip powering off. On the topic of the power, is there really such a need to have such an obnoxiously large power supply for a product which could easily be run from a USB port? There's no need for a conventional wall plug in my opinion when a USB passthrough would be a much more workable solution. On a positive; for the short period that I've had it working and connected up for more than a few minutes, the colour reproduction is pretty good and gives a good glow behind my headboard. A little more attention to the quality and ease of use for the end user and I'm sure this would be fantastic for the price, but as it stands I'd struggle to recommend these RGB Strips for anyone wanting to use them as 'Smart Lights'. P.S. If you do use these, have double sided tape at the ready as the adhesive taping pre-attached peels off when trying to apply it.

Good, not great
The LEDS emit a good light and they were pretty easy to put together and up (though I used command strips rather than the supplied adhesive). I have 2 issues though: - I cant connect them to my WiFi, my router is dual band so it is emitting a 2.4ghz signal but I just cant work out how to get them to connect to that band rather than the 5ghz. I got these specific LEDs to be able to control them through my voice so bit disappointing. - This has meant I have had to use the controller more, which is a shame but ok. Now though suddenly the 3 mode buttons have suddenly stopped working, when I click them the lights just turn off rather than changing colour. Not sure why this has happened and a bit concerning as I have only had the lights for 3 days!

Worth every single penny!
I bought this set of light to deck out a 10-yo’s Room. In his words: They as OP “over power”!! In the best way possible. The sticky tape works well unlike most others I have tried before - where they don’t stick well. In addition, it also comes with a set of transparent rubber brackets and screws if you need reinforcements. For the bed in my photo, I only needed to use one set of light strip to outline the bed frame. For the “OP” part: the Magic Home App used to control the lights truly works! The lights changes color to music, you can sing and it will flicker to the tempo, you can use the camera function to capture different colored objects and the light will change color to that object. It’s the coolest thing ever! I would say even better than the Philip Hue light strip that I spent $70 on. Worth every single penny! When the lights are not switched on, it is barely visible as can be seen in the photo - very discreet.
