My mistake, they did germinate on time.... ignore the didn't. Didn't germinate
Ok starting this review over. I should have began by finding out how long it takes for catnip seeds to germinate. It takes 2-3 weeks! In my impatience I guess i expected them to pop up much faster, like cat grass. The picture shows them starting to grow at 2 weeks so the seeds are actually right on time or a little ahead of expectations. I don't know how many seeds were in the package and they are tiny (about the size of a pen dot) and black. I sprinkled them all on the dirt, couldn't see them at all at that point. Anyway they are viable and I'm happy with the seeds. I had purchased the two plants but i can tell you that they were pricey so wanted to try growing my own. Seems to be working just fine now!Below my bad reviewMy seeds did not germinate. Very disappointed, but this is the second time i have tried catnip seeds. I had then indoors not outside i don't know if that makes a difference or not. I don't usually have much trouble growing plants but these seeds Just did not work out for me.Update to previous review. These seeds finally did germinate. It took around 10-12 days but they look good right now. I'll see how they survive and update my review with pictures.

Tiny sprouts so far!
I’m always nervous about buying seeds online. I usually buy catnip plants from home improvement stores since the ones in pet stores are always covered in mold, but home improvement stores carry them seasonally. My cat will have to wait a while for these, but I’m happy to report I have 3 little sprouts so far! They actually started to grow when I was out of town for an entire week. I soaked them pretty well before going on vacation and put them under one of those cheap grow lights. My apartment usually stays between 70-75 degrees without the AC/heat on, so I’m assuming it was around that temperature while I was gone. I also have it placed away from windows/drafts, in about the center of the room against a wall that gets some Filtered morning sun too. When I came back a week later, my plants had sprouted and were about an inch tall! So exciting! I hope this info helps!

Makes all the cats happy
I was kind of having a very busy spring so when I got these they did not go out right away. Late last spring I just threw them over the balcony and shot some water over every now and then. Not normally a good way to grow things, but these seeds did great. We got a nice large thick patch. Now all the neighbors cats along with my boy are happy cat's now.

Seems to work for my son-daughter-in-law's cat
We gave my son and daughter in law this product for their cat. All I have is hearsay to go one. But they note that their cat seems to enjoy becoming a bit crazed while munching the catnip. If the cat approves, I approve!

Minimal germination
Seeds looked good upon arrival. I did my research for weeks before planting, wrote out a care guide and all....I have my third and final batch/try going right now, I'm just starting to see sprouts and pilot leaves but let me tell you what...out of a thousand seeds, I see maybe a dozen sprouts. Catnip seeds and plants are for some reason hard to come by online and IRL, maybe it's because it's just a hard plant to grow (could be the case, I am no master gardener but I do alright!), could be the batch I received, idk but bottom line my cats and I are less than enthused about the results. I'm going to keep pampering this batch and I will update this review should anything impressive happen but nobody hold their breath.

Seeds didn’t work
I would say I have a green thumb and I have no issues growing seeds and keeping plants alive. I planted these seeds in almost 2 dozen pots and NOTHING GREW. Rip off!!!! DONT BUY.

Not so great seeds
Only about 4 of the 100 seeds sprouted. Normally these plants grow much easier.
