My original review is below and it seems I was just unlucky to have received an anomalous batch as the new one I tried is much nicer, brighter, tastes a lot smoother and more delicious, definitely what I'd expect from a top quality matcha. Very happy with the product and the company as a whole. It's pricey, but I will definitely be buying another one after I'm finished with this one. I do wish I could rate it 4.5 or even 4.9 as I feel I still have to factor in the original bad batch. But given the much better second tin and the excellent customer service, I don't think it would be right to rate it 4 stars, so I'm going with 5. With all honesty, no jokes you can try the matcha without water and be straight surprised at how sweet it is ( compared to other matchas that is ).
