Great product….
Nice color, weathering look,
.**.
Exact color I was looking for, quick saturation and fast drying time.
This stain saved the day. I had a new Trex deck installed and the only thing that showed natural wood color were the four support posts holding up the deck. The installer said wait a month or two before staining them to allow the pressure treatment in the wood to dry out a bit. So during that time I started looking for a good stain. Since my deck is white railing with gray Trex boards I wanted the posts to be great as well. After some searching I found this particular companies gray stain. I searched reviews all over the net not just on Amazon and this stain holds up true to most of the reviews out there. I’m glad it’s an oil based stain, it’s saturates into the wood quickly, dries pretty fast and the color is quite uniform. If you want a little of the grain to show just put on one thin coat and you will be able to see green underneath for a true weathered look. As I was putting a stain on I would do a second coat as it started to dry probably within a few minutes. This made for a uniform gray with a little wood grain showing underneath which is what I was going for. I’m very happy with this stain and I think you’ll be as well.

I'm happy with the results.
My husband and I used this to reclaim some old pallet boards to use in our bathroom. I think its pretty. It took on sort of a grey blue tint, which will look good for the bathroom theme.. the river's edge. It was easy to use, and a little goes a long way. I only put one coat on these boards. The house is still being built, but I'll try to post an updated picture when the bathroom is finished! The photo of the shower just has the reclaimed wood on the outside; the shower walls are tile.

Try to stain all your projects at once, or it can get a little chunky
Love this wood stain! My wife and I have been getting into DIY projects, and even sold all of our old furniture to build new furniture. We were following the pocket hole guides put on by Shanty 2 Chic, and was introduced to this brand through them. It's a bit more expensive, but it is thicker and a much more premium stain than what I typically pick up through Home Depot. The only negative I've experienced so far, is that even though I resealed it, when I went to use it for my next project, it had accumulated a hardened layer on the top of the stain. I broke it and used it anyways, and would occasionally have to pick out chunks. Stain is hard to use all at once, so I would expect it to hold a little better to re-use. Other than that, it was great! We topped it off with the Varathane Polyurethane coating and it's held up very well! Pros: Thicker Beautiful Not sticky once completely dry Works well with other Varathane products Looks very high end Cons: Expensive Doesn't hold up as well to re-use

Covers bar wood in one coat
This product worked as advertised. It covered bear wood in one coat and is weather resistant to this point cleanup is with mineral spirits beware of that. It does not clean up with soap and water.

Great price!
Great price and arrived promptly. Would have been helpful if the seller had run the cans through the shaker before shipping. Didn’t realize how important that was until I received unshaken cans.
