Hard to clean but holds up any liquid, sos, butter, hot pans and pots. It will treat your expensive table well while you can throw anything on it.Like it because of the thickness and the lovely colour, but boy I can't stand it for the fluff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant *by L***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 February 2020* I'm very pleased with these place mats. I have a new glass topped table and was worried abot scratches. These mats fit the bill, they are large enough for a big plate and cutlery. There are 4 cutlery pockets with this set but possibly use them to hold the napkins instead. Very thick felt should hold the heat and matching coasters in a good variety of colours. As I have just bought this set I can't say how it washes but can't see a problem, just a quick wash in warm water should do. Overall very pleased. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great little set. *by K***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 October 2020* I love this little set, having the large circular coater for a serving bowl and the cutlery envelopes is a real bonus. The table looks lovely and the price was very reasonable too. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/145743187-gifort-placemats-felt-placemats-including-coasters-and-cutlery-bags-table](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/145743187-gifort-placemats-felt-placemats-including-coasters-and-cutlery-bags-table) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
