If you mean the direction (left hand vs right hand), then yes it is reversible. It automatically learns the direction when you insert the battery pack. If that is not working correctly, try holding the middle button while you insert the battery pack and once it's inserted release and push the middle button once more and it will learn the direction.

is this lock compatiable for any door? i live in an apartment and wanted one of these doorlocks

This lock is great and I would think that it would work on the apartment door. I installed this 3 weeks ago on our house and it is working great. You just need to use your phone app to do all the programing on it. You may need to talk to someone in the apartment office if you can have this installed. And if you do install this don't forget to keep the old one so you can change it back and take this one with you.
