Great Value
At first I thought there was not a visual difference with the AV plug, but I then tried it on a different TV and could tell the visual improvement that this component provides. I had remembered that my other TV does not support 480p so it was not able to take advantage of this cable. I also read reviews that images appeared black and white. I experienced this myself but that was due to incorrectly plugging in the cables by mismatching the colors between the cable and the TV input. Overall, I would recommend it given the cost to benefit ratio.

Cables work great
The cables work great for connecting the Wii.

Short but good
It's extremely short compared to other component cables, as well as the OEM composite cable, but it's working well for giving a better quality image, and sound, than composites.

Best mod I've ever done to my Wii!
This has VASTLY improved my Wii experience. Since 2012, I have been using my Wii with the included AV cables. Now, with almost all my TVs being HDTV, the 480i output from the Wii was becoming a bit of an eyesore. I decided to pick this up, and it looks exactly like the OEM cables. It looks great, is sturdy, and features some nice, thick cables. They were plug-and-play, and the picture quality is SO much better and sharper, making it well worth the money. The picture looks crisp, and the sound quality and noise levels remain unchanged. Overall, this is a great upgrade to help get your Wii outputting a sharper image!

Just like the original
When I got rid of our old TV with component RGB cables I figured I would be unlikely to ever find another TV that still used those ports and traded in the OEM Wii component cable for the copper scrap metal. So then when I moved and ended up buying an older, used TV and discovered it had RGB ports, I found myself needing a new cable. The picture quality from a Wii is not great, it's built for older technology, but it was significantly better than the red/white/yellow cables I was using before -- it's worth the upgrade. As far as I can tell, these are just as good as the OEM cable. By the way, there are other adapters out there that convert from Wii output to HDMI. That will give you the same high quality picture as this product, but not the audio, that's why those adapters have a separate audio port on them -- HDMI requires digital audio, and Wii outputs only analog audio. If you have the input ports on your TV to support RGB plus the RCA-style audio cables, this product is a better option. If you don't and you must use HDMI, you're going to need something else (like headphones or computer speakers) to plug into the audio port of the adapter.

You get what you pay for.
I bought these for a better image from my wii on my 1080p vizio with legacy inputs. They're fine. They're compnent cables. The picture brightness and color depth and sharpnes in 480p was noticably better than 480i over composite. BUT... the video output had visible static. Horizontal crawling snow that was noticeable all the time, but especially with a dark or black screen. They look to be pretty well shielded, but there it was... like I needed to adjust my bunny-ears on an analog TV. Fortunately, I lucked into some rocketfish component cables for free shortly after buying these, and I passed these ones on to my son. I doubt he'll notice or care about the upgrade or the snow... I'm not sure if he's even plugged them in. It's not woth the effort to return them, given how cheap they were. If you just want a cheap set of component cables for your Wii, these will do the job, look better and give you progressive scan, but the build quality and QA on these things seems to be pretty bad. Others have reported more serious issues with image quality than mine. It's a crap shoot. Yours might work fine, or they might have visible noise out of the box. I can't speak to durability, since I used them for like a week, and only one or two play sessions before I stopped using them. You get what you pay for. Roll the dice on cheap cables, or pay more for something of decent quality.
