Repugnant smell, can’t use it as a skin oil . I don’t think I could stand the smell to cook with it.
I have used safflower oil for several years on my skin, great moisturizer/ skin softener . Amazon did not have what I have been ordering; so I tried this product. It was a little more expensive but I needed it so ordered . It looks good, rich gold color. However the smell is repugnant. I can not stand to use it. I tried adding a few drops of essential oil to a small amount of it - not much better.

My grandson had heart surgery and they have him on a special formula. He has to have this. He takes this one with no problems like it's not even in the bottle. We have had others and he will not drink the bottles. Excellent product thank you. I'm so recommended by his cardiologist

Smells Terrible, Made Me Sick
Smells really bad, almost rancid. The color is really dark, unlike other safflower oils I've used in the past. And it caused extreme abdominal distress.

Smells very strong - beware
The smell is extremely strong, smells like toasted sesame oil. Which is strange to me, other safflower oils I have purchased do not have an aroma. I use this for massage normally, but I can't use this on clients as the scent is too potent. I appreciate the fact that this is organic and cold pressed, which may contribute to the strong smell.

Not for me , bought this to replace another brand that I had run out of,taste & sensitivity to heat is off, especially at the price.(better cold as an additive or base for salad dressing or add to certain items to improve stir ability)
