Is there much difference between this ashwagandha and organic ashwagandha root powder capsules? or do they work the same?

Thank you for your inquiry. Both products are organic Ashwagandha derived from root powder, and will work the same. This Ashwagandha uses a trademarked form of Ashwagandha, KSM-66 with 5% withanolides standardized. It is a more potent form of Ashwagandha, and is for users looking for a stronger supplement.

Is this third-party tested for heavy metals?

Yes, every single batch is tested for heavy metals by independent third party labs.

Does this contain milk?

No, our KSM-66 Ashwagandha is the vegan source of KSM-66. We don't use the KSM that is filtered in Milk. Our KSM is milk/dairy free and vegan.

Why would the 1950mg version with leaves work better for me than this pure root version? this ksm-66 is ineffective for me.

Hi Allison, the 1950 MG organic Ashwagandha powder is extracted from only the root as well. While it does not have the same standardized withanolides level as the KSM, it is a higher does of Ashwagandha per suggested serving, which may explain why it works better for you.
