why can't I use this on my eyelashes?

It must be intended for use on brows only, even though it looks like a mascara wand. I ordered it wanting to use it for my lashes, as I am very fair and cannot find any mascara that is light enough. However, after using it on my eyelashes, it severely irritated my eyes. It is confusing in that it looks exactly like a mascara wand.

I do not know, but I can say that it feels like a very clean product. No smell, no skin irritation.I'm very happy with this product.

No, not waterproof but I'd say it's water resistant. (Lasts through dripping Zumba sweat!)
