Megarama: The Mixes - Bananarama

If you want mixes you have come to the right place. I Want You Back (extended European mix), (Love Truth and Honesty) dance hall version just to start things off! It just keeps on coming at you fast and furious. These are all remastered from the original studio tapes and they sound fantastic! It is as if you are in the studio with the girls sitting in on the sessions. These are how remasters are supposed to sound.Bananarama's entire London tenure is all covered here. We got some mixes on the previous 6 deluxe collections but these are unreleased or never before available. I love all Bananarama music so I really enjoy these different mixes. If you are a fan pick this up, you will enjoy the Megarama Mixes!! Also Kudos to Edsel Records and Rhino for getting behind all of these 7 Bananarama releases!! Each volume has fantastic remastered sound, nice photos, informative liner notes, and nicely packaged in a bound hard cover booklet!!

I've always loved Bananarama so this was an essential addition to my collection, especially since I was able to meet them in Chicago in 2012. The remixes are all fun and interesting takes on the songs I know and love from their original albums. Definitely looks at the tunes in a new light and I thoroughly enjoy all 3 CD's here.

Out of 36 tracks, with several repeat titles, there's only 1 Cruel Summer, 1 Shy Boy, and 2 Na Na Hey Hey... mixes. Plenty of great mixes of non-hits, but this is really for super fans, not casual fans.

I love remixes and there are some on here I have never heard so that really is a plus for me. Also great liner notes

All of Bananarama's 12" and extended mixes in one place. What more could you ask for !

What a terrific collection. Not complete by any measure, but a good start. A colourful, informative booklet containing three CDs of extended mixes of some of their best, if not biggest selling singles. Some omissions, but very well worth a listen. A great addition to any collection of all things Keren, Sara, Siobhan and Jacquie related.

Lots of fun and memories just wish they had extended the mixes to include some later hits eg Every Shade of Blue , Move in my direction etc

Fantastic album full of great songs. The Stock Aitken Waterman ones stand out most. Interesting versions of some of bananaramas classics. A must for the die hard fans and I'd say that new listeners to the 80's would enjoy it too.
