Aquarium Fish Breeder Box - Hatching & Spawning Incubator, Water Isolation Net Hatchery

I'm a member of a tropical fish club and recently started breeding rainbowfish. The fry are tiny and spend their first weeks in a "German breeding ring". But once they get to about half an inch long, they needed more room. but can't be set loose in a big tank or they'll be outcompeted for food. I ordered this, and it works far better than I thought. Very easy to assemble. Just to be on the safe side, I used a drop of super glue (which is aquarium safe) on each piece when assembling. The suction cups are very strong and haven't budged from the sides of my 50 gallon tank. The fry are happy, have lots of room to swim (this net box is BIG!) and the netting is small enough they do not get stuck in it or even try to go through the holes. I think this will last through many batches of fry.

This breeding box is larger than most, which is perfect for my African cichlids. The net fits well and is strong enough while still being sheer enough for the fish to see each other and water to pass through easily. My only complaint, and reason for not giving five stars, is that the green supports easily fall out of their keepers. I'm constantly needing to push the supports back together while there are fish in the box, which is difficult.

Falls apart. I left a fish in it overnight for aggression reasons. The entire thing collapsed on him. He died the next day. He was fine before this happened. Do not buy! I really deserve a refund.

This product does what is intended to do for the most part. My issue is that it broke while putting it together, the parts don't properly fit, my fish get trapped between the netting and the glass, and my sucker fish jumped on the net and knocked it over.

I have South/Central American Cichlids. Once in a while one might get a bit aggressive and needs to go on "time out". This product is perfect for that. It arrived on the promised date & the price was right. I would buy again!

Breeder box worked well. I put my fish that got beaten up by another fish in the breeder box to heal.

Came fast and Its already serving its purpose. I have a pregnant fish about to have babies and i had to move her out of the big tank to a smaller tank inside the next breeder.
