I have bought many different car mounts with no success until I found this mount! Super easy to use and was actually sturdy enough to hold my phone, no problem! It was secure, and easy to use! I ordered another for my husband too! I would recommend it to anyone!

As much as I like this car cell holder, my Pixel 3XL phone is just too heavy to hold it up in place. And forget about turning it Horizontally, there are not enough of the silicone holders to hold it in place. I have to return it. But I'm sure if I didn't have such a heavy phone, it would work OK

I like that this holder is skeletal & does not block the heating / cooling vent more than is necessary. It seems mechanically sound yet weak enough to protect the vent in case of accidental impact. I have a thick rubber case on my smartphone & discovered the holder's 6 retention knobs can be pulled out enough to accommodate it. Overall-- it is a good link between the smartphone & dashboard.

The actual phone holding mechanism works pretty much as advertised and looks good, but the vent clip piece is too narrow and easily slides out of place or falls off when you turn too sharp or hit a bump. Hopefully they make the vent clip piece more broad or make it have a dual clip (ie. 2 vent clips maybe 1" apart) on future models.Your phone can also only be viewed in the upright mode and depending on where the aux plug is, the bottom bracing gets in the way of your aux cord and you have to put your phone in upside down if you want to listen to media through the aux. This is unlikely an issue if you have a newer car, but not great in our 09'. This was an issue with a Samsung S9, but if your aux cord is on top it won't matter.

its very flimsy. the grip isnt strong enough so it keeps sliding off the air vent. the part that holds the phone broke after couple of use. not worth the money no matter how cheap.

before i used the magnet phone holder, I'd hit a bump,curves,hills...phone would fall. i had to travel to unknown place used maps, able to place phone in my new holder, securely, hands free, visible

The 7 point linkage grivity design of this is unique. Unique in a good way and smart. Clips onto your AC vent. And needs room below the vent for your phone to hang down a bit. Included a picture. I had to mount on the left. Since my middle console juts outwardly. I like that this doesn’t have to have something sticky. This air vent car phone mount is perfect for me!

Galaxy S9+ fits perfectly without a case. Holder does swivel a bit, but hasn't fallen or dropped with the phone in it yet. When I have the case on (with a finger ring on the back) it sits rather high and is a little tippy, but still fits okay enough. For longer trips I just take off the case.
