The Scourge of Magic: Assassins & Kings: An Epic Fantasy Adventure (Academy of Falling Kingdoms Series Book 3)

I absolutely loved this series. I fell in love with the characters and their interactions with each other. The story line was very interesting and kept me wanting more. Loved it!!!

It was a bit predictable when she got “betrayed” but it was still well put together enough that I wasn’t too annoyed. Good conclusion!

I thought this was a conclusion to the series, but at the last page the author mentioned another book. However, this book was a nice ending of the series at least so far. Wynter has grown into a strong and confident woman. The other characters were great assets to the series and I hope that the next book brings the gang together again. It would be nice if there were some HEA for the other characters too.

The end is goid. Some bitterness but mostly sweet. I was a little disappointed with one character although he did redeem himself some, i wish he would have had the chance to redeem himself more. Overall this last installment was intense with gruesome battles, huge victories and sweet scenes. Overall no profanity and the romance was clean. Appropriate for all audiences.

I hope we get more stories in this world. I loved all of the characters and mythos. Man I can’t believe that’s the last book! Epic series, epic book, epic characters. I loved it all.

The overall story and world-building is a fresh take on the “Academy” trope, which is refreshing. The characters have dimension and show growth throughout the series. The world the authors have created is detailed and well described. The adventure and mystery is thrilling, with several twists and turns that keep you guessing. My only complaint would be the lack of editing - continuity issues (forgetting a person was left behind, only to have them appear in the scene; switching characters out, etc), naming issues (Lucian vs Lucifer), and basic grammar/repeating words. While distracting at times, these issues don’t diminish the well written storyline.

I don't know if I forgot to consider it because the book is so thrilling (not a dull moment to be found), but the twist at the end got me good. I love that! Predictable is always a wee bit disappointing for me. There was nothing disappointing about this series. I'm sad it's over.

This book was amazing in the continuation of book one. This author had me so drawn in to the story it was if I were living in the story. I read this book in one night and purchased book two immediately after finishing, where I could continue with the story. Book two I finished the next day. Completely AMAZING Books and author. Please keep them coming!!!!!!
