I think its a bit frustrating for my 8 year old to get it up but once it's up he seems to enjoy the challenge. He has much easier ones to get up and fly and this one will give a big tug for sure as it catches a lot of air but he laughs and likes the challenge. It's a great kite to have in the kite collection for a little more challenge and we find the benefit of learning how to fly more than just one type more than half the fun of kite flying! It's mesmerizing up in the sky! Just really beautiful and makes the imagination soar....like a squid octopus flying in the blue sky ocean. Lots of fun. Totally have in the kite arsenal but make sure to have easier ones for the littles too.

Since it is not actually the case with a lot of low-price kites, the fact that it actually flies decently is worth mentioning. It remained pretty stable in winds up to about 15 mph, which is higher than I would have guessed. And the price point is low enough that if you want to share kite flying with some random person on the beach, you are not out much if you hand them the kite and tell them to keep it.I plan to grab a couple of these to fly in a group: at this price, why not?

Had this out at the beach. It was fun kite to fly but there was a small issue with the strings twisting up. The strings got so twisted that it cause the kite to collapse on itself and drop out of the sky. The string had to be cut and I manually had to unwind the strings to get the twisting out.Overall it looked great and was fun mostly. Maybe a better string to fly with would help.

This kite only comes wit 50 feet of line. You will need a windy to keep it aloft and it is hard to stabilize the kite in the air .it frequently dives and twists to the ground. I am going to try and fly this again but change to a longer spool of line, to see If at a higher altitude it will become more stable

This kite was surprisingly easy to fly considering the size! Took off really easy and sustained in air for ages. Highly recommend this kite

It's a really cool kite and super easy to deploy. My kids love it! Would highly recommend.

Flies easily. We tied it to a fence and the kite stayed up for 2 hours. The tails were frayed when we took it down. But for the price it is a great kite and easy flier.
