I love the length. I love the way it slides on (nice big opening for big hands). I love the heat resistance! You really don't feel the heat!So I love, love, love most of it...but I hate, hate, hate the seaming between the thumb and the finger section. It's uncomfortable to move your thumb next to your first finger in a standard grabbing motion. Hot baking dishes, messy items, hot oven racks, are not a problem. no heat transfer and minimal bulk. And, you can just rinse them off when you are finished. They are expensive for oven mitts, but i had my first pair for 15 years of daily use. I cook a lot, and use an awkward wall oven, so its been a very good test.
