I did purchase a white bikini top to wear underneath for some support. I also think it's probably too thin to go without. I bought it for our Caribbean cruise, but just wore it to the water park and didn't get any sun where it covered. It dried very quickly when I got out of the water. Tighten up the side strings and it's a great rash guard or modest swim top. Definitely need a bikini top or bra under it, but it's a nice looking top. I plan on pairing it with some fitted, long board swim shorts. It fits snug as swim and gym wear typically do; size up if you don't want it too clingy.
