Tires are not inflated so you will need a bike pump or air compressor to inflate them.All elements of the bike work well and seem well made. Assembly is easy if you have knowledge of basic tools or have made adjustments to handlebar and seat heights before. My only complaint is the quality of the tires. The rear tire took air fine, but the front tire unsealed from the wheel at about 15 lbs of pressure (which is basically nothing). After much reaseating I got it to stay, but I had to keep the tire pressure pretty low or it would unseat again. After about 20 minutes of riding the tire started coming apart. A new set of tires is about $35 to $40.
