Will it roll easily on high pile carpet?

While I dont have high pile I do have extra thick padding, it seems to roll well. I dont have any problems pulling it out or putting it away by myself. I've been very pleased with this bed.

Does this roll under a day bed with a mattress on it?

Yes. We have an 8” memory foam mattress on it.

it rolls very easily in and out from under the bed. My son used it all summer long for his friends. the only thing is measure how much room you have for a mattress, we got a 8inch mattress it fit nicely, but if we got any thicker it wouldn't have fit, due to the amount of space we have under the bed.
