Lasts a long time, burns well. Would highly recommend to anyone with a fondue pot. Will keep ordering this product!

Gel cover is soft and wish it was hard.

These fuel gel packs are not suitable for small fondue pots. They are way too large. They burned so hot that within one to two minutes they caused the fondue to bubble furiously and boil over onto my antique tablecloth thereby staining it. These are more suitable for medium sized chaffing dishes. These should not be used for fondue pots. Also this item is sold and shipped by a 3rd party seller, so even though you are buying on Amazon the return/refund process is not an easy or pleasant experience - even if you are a Prime Member - Amazon does not and will not handle the return/refund within the first 48 hours.

Kept our fondue melted without burning -- at the lowest setting of our burner it kept the cheese melted without burning it.
