Got it as a gift for my girlfriend and she loved it! Excellent quality, durable, matte plastic material and gorgeous and adorable pink color in addition to the strawberry design. The band is super tight and strong and keeps it together. Although I did have to double wrap it for when she would only bring one level of the box to work, so that was a bit annoying, since she doesn't eat enough food to fill up both compartments. I started putting an ice pack in one of the boxes to fix the problem, so it keeps it cold and utilizes both at once. I thought it would include small chopsticks or a small spoon/fork in the top chamber but it didn't. Would have been nice if the small utensil chamber was a little bigger to accommodate for larger utensils since it didn't include mini-size utensils or has little grooves you can pop chopsticks into. I solved this problem by slipping the utensils in between the box and the band on the outside, although it makes the utensil compartment kind of useless. Lastly, although it is easy to clean and the plastic is very good quality, if you have food that can stain clothing easily, it will probably also stain the bento box. So stay away from curry, since that's how I learned my lesson. It's got a bright neon yellow spot that I couldn't scrub off and I'm still trying to figure out a way to get rid of the stain. I'm not sure if bleach will be effective. If there is any way to get rid of stains for this type of plastic, please let me know. It's very well designed and functions well but it's such a bummer to have it stained within its first week of use.

This is the best bento box I could find on the market. Microwaveable, leak proof, and perfect size to put inside your backpack. Super stylish as well

Monbento makes excellent bento boxes. I have six of them. This particular model was an older style that does not have a very useful tab on the corners of the sealing lids, making it a little difficult to separate. In addition, the outer plastic can become easily stained and can, depending on color, really affect the look. Overall, I would not hesitate to buy a Monbento, but it would be best to purchase one of the newer models that are better designed.

Ive had this thing for a few years at least and it has been my every day lunch box ever since. It comes with a divider and 2 tiers so my lunch usually consists of cheese cubes, sliced fruit and nuts in the top tier with veggies, meat and rice in the bottom. I usually snack a little bit each break and eat the meat on my lunch break. It comes with a bag and it takes up very little space in my backpack. I really love this thing, I dont need any other lunch box. My macros stay in check at work and everything is perfectly proportioned. It's convenient, its cute, why not??? 10/10

Probably the best built bento box of the few I own. Very sturdy. It can be hard to open, but that's the price you pay for it being leakproof. It's easy to clean. Turmeric does stain it, but turmeric stains everything except glass, so my stains are not a knock on this box. The gray coton is beautiful. I do wish Monbento offered a charcoal gray in the original size to hide stains better. I prefer this original version size over the larger size for most foods with the exception of larger salads and sandwiches. I was lucky to get my hands on a used box in pristine condition at half the price, but it's worth the full price too.

I bought two items from monbento, one is this lunch box and the other is silicase. When I got the items, the outer package was dirty and filled with transparent stickers. I once thought it was used by others. But I was too tired, so I didn't return it. I used it. The quality is pretty good. It looks beautiful. But I am uncomfortable to suspect that this is a used item. It's a pity that I forgot to give the package photos.I hope no one has ever used it. But your official website says that you now release monbento made in France. Why is it made in China? If you don't sell made in France, you shouldn't show made in France in the picture. Because it's cheating.

This is such a cute little box I can't wait to actually use it. I did put water in the little condiment tray and shut the lid to the box now it did leak out of the little condiment tray but it did not leak out of the box that I put it in. I wish there was a little lid for that tray That's the only thing that would make this better. And maybe some cutlery attached to the small top would have been nice too. But overall I love the design I love the strawberry print it's super cute and I would totally buy more if I need some in the future

Improved venting/vacuum system from the set I've been using for the last 10 years, and perfect size. The matte finish makes it a little hard to look clean, it shows every water spot, but I still love it.

This was an impressive box, of great quality, and built with a great eye for detail. The perfect gift for someone who makes their own meal for work. I suggest to buy an extra band, as often I use only one box. Nice and tight seal on both boxes.
