These work well as long as you have them tight against your pups paws. I would recommend only using them when the snow is hard packed. Whenever the snow is fluffy outside, snow builds up around the opening and it then gets stuck around my dogs leg and bothers her quite a bit as she'll stop and try to lick the built up snow off. We only use this on ice or when the snow is hard packed to prevent her pads from ripping. Overall, still work great just have to tighten them appropriately and know what kind of weather will work best for it.

Bought these for my dog to wear hiking in the Southwest in case the ground was too hot, or cactuses or whatever. We used them the first day fairly successfully but since it was winter didn’t use the rest of the trip. I liked the height of them, her little dewclaw fit into the shoe without being right at the height of the velcro. Weirdly, they all stayed on no problem except one of the shoes and j never figured out why! Went on and fit just the same, Velcro’d tightly, who knows. We’ll see how they function for her in snow next winter, all in all a good purchase!

We live in an area with beyond-rough rough roads and, because I have an Australian Shepherd, the only way to consistently exercise him as much as he needs, he has to run. Originally, I thought his paws would toughen up and all would be good - but his calluses got so thick that he literally chewed them off. So, back at square one, I looked at boots - these are the only ones I found that didn't cost an arm, a leg, and more. The first pair I got swallowed his feet and lower legs, but this size is perfect! He's an Australian Shepherd, so a medium sized dog. But these are great. They only twist on his feet if he's trying to turn on a dime, but because we're running, they're amazing. The two Velcro strips are great, though I've found out they work better when you tighten the bottom, tighten the top, and then tighten the bottom further. Employ many treats and this is a great product!

I purchased the first pair in a small for my new puppy from Dog Supply in Las Vegas. As winter is coming the stores no loner sell dog shoes, as sad as that is. So I was happy to find them on Amazon, I needed the next size up which was a Medium and the pair that came looked and fitted like an x-large. Had to return.

These are well made and a nice thick sole to protect their feet. They are a little big for my dog, but the medium size would be too small. We live in AZ so shoes are a must during the summer to walk on the hot pavement.They can be difficult to put on if the dog isn't used to wearing shoes (it took 3 of us to hold and get the shoes on correctly). The best tip to get them to stay on is make sure the dog is standing when you tighten the Velcro otherwise it doesn't get tight enough around the ankle and they kick it off easily. We would definitely buy these again.

The media could not be loaded.  I was almost afraid these wouldn't fit my dog since the 2.25" is a bit wider than his 2" wide paws, but they seem to fit him just fine. I had to strap them pretty snug around his "wrist" area, and he didn't seem to like wearing them at first, but as soon as I took him on a walk in them, he adjusted immediately and walked normally. He doesn't chew on them and hasn't kicked them off like he's done with other shoes. They seem solidly constructed for what they are. They aren't all that insulated for very cold days, but if you want to protect your dog's feet from road salt in the winter or rocky terrain on a hike, these should do just fine.

These are cute as heck. Would not stay on my put bulls paws.
