I am using the 1 to 2 port RJ45 splitter to run two amateur (ham) radio microphones in parallel. It is working well for that purpose. The splitter allows me to have a microphone in the cab of my RV and one in the back. There are two Kenwood MC-53DM microphones connected to a Kenwood TM-D710G radio. All microphone and keypad features work properly and independently on both microphones.

Horrible item. At first I plugged it in to the router and the added one ethernet cable that's connect to my computer and another that is connected to my xbox. The one connected to my xbox did NOT work at all. So i changed it up and still did not work. Then the other side stopped working. This item is trash dont waste money on it. Complete garbage.

Does not work :( Completely lost connectivity using this splitter. Take the splitter away and direct connection works great.

Lost the connection once plugged in. It says - This connection requires an active Internet connection.
