Why is this 12v? All my Makita batteries are 18v.

Makita DMP180ZX is out now. Not a lot of stores carry it yet.

Is there an 18v version of this??

I'm in the same boat and have been waiting for over a year. Makita have had an 18v vacuum pump for many years but still no 18v compressor? There are actually a few things I'd like they don't make, so will be buying then in the Ryobi range and an 18v battery adapter or two to use my Makita batteries in them.

Is it possible to use an 18 volt converter adapter so I can use my existing Makita battery packs? I'm not interested in buying 12 volt packs.

Regular 18volt charger and battery will not work with this 12volt system. I am not sure if an 18 volt converter adapter will work.

Does Makita have an 18V inflator?
