Silly noises are perfect for our senior group!
We use these noise buzzers all the time for our game nights. All of them work even still - although one of the buzzers is almost too soft to be heard. I would purchase these again if I need to. So far, they are durable and the noises are clear and goofy!

Better than the peppy ball for our Welshie!
I got this set for our 2 year old Welsh Terrier. It provides entertainment and keeps her busy for a bit. I do keep a time limit on how long she plays with them so it doesn't reach a destructive level. She has another set, the plain buzzers, which also keeps her entertained. She has had that for more than a year and the green one is stuck. I thought I'd get her a new set when I came across the Barnyard Animals. The horse sound could be better, but that seems to be her favorite. These are proving to be more entertaining and sturdy than the pricey peppy pet balls.

Buzzers that are so eager to do their job, they operate independently
I purchased these buzzers to use as part of a party game. They worked like a charm, and the different sounds were helpful to know who buzzed in first. They were the right level of sound/loudness without being annoying. Plus, when two or more people ring in at the same time, it's pretty hilarious all on its own. Two watch-outs: 1. You have to insert two AAA batteries into each buzzer (which I knew up front). The cover where the batteries go is insanely hard to remove. It's screwed onto the underside of the buzzer (presumably b/c this is meant to be used with little kids & you can't have a small part come loose & get swallowed). You need the world's tiniest Phillips head screw driver to remove the cover. And even then, you will want to smash the buzzer against the wall as you attempt to unscrew the cover. Eventually, it comes off but it's a huge pain. 2. This part is hilarious. Once I was finished with the party game, I put the buzzers back into the original box. Box is sitting in my laundry room, completely undisturbed, on top of the washing machine (not being used, so the machine is still). The buzzers go off randomly. Perhaps 2-3 times/day, I hear a "neigh" or a "moo" come out of the laundry room, as if the buzzers are beckoning me. I'd try to remove the batteries, but please refer to point #1 above. Otherwise, a perfectly serviceable set of buzzers and a good value for the price.

Kids love this
Bought these for animal assisted therapy work. The dogs hit the buzzer with little effort. it is very easy to make the noise and the buzzers don't slide around on the floor. Cheap fun for everyone. Only one problem: you need a very tiny Phillips screw driver to open the battery compartment. This is inconvenient if the batteries die while at a program. Also 1 screw was stripped when I got the buzzer. I managed to get it out and I am lucky enough to live close to an old fashioned hardware store that carries every size/type of screw & nut. Otherwise, I am sure it would have been a hassle to return the whole set.

Great for dog training and very durable!
Really nice, sturdy little buzzers; I got these to work on teaching my dog to press a button on command, and they've worked out really well for that. I figured the barnyard sounds they make would be rewarding on their own and keep my dog motivated to want to keep pressing them, and BOY has that proven to be true. In fact, my bigger struggle now is to teach her to only press them when she's asked... and to not run away with them in her mouth. :D I know these are mostly designed to be used with kids, and I think I can say fairly confidently that when they've survived being slammed by paws and claws, slobbered on, and carried away like a chew toy, kids will probably be no sweat. Battery life has been very good so far, too. I didn't really need more than one, but the fact that four come in this box for more or less the same price as some other buzzers (like the "easy button") is a huge perk... if any of them DO break, I'll have back-ups, and I've also been switching them out so the sound keeps changing and my dog stays interested. (The chicken and cow are the best ones, in my opinion; the dog and horse sound a little bit like random screeching.) I might give one to my dog trainer and see how she likes to have it on hand for her classes. The different colors are great, too; maybe one day I can teach my dog to select a specific animal by color.

Dog buzzer didnt work
I liked that each buzzer you can clearly hear the distinct animal sounds to tell whose buzzing in. Sad that 1 out of 4 buzzers didnt work. Still going to keep the buzzers tho.

Great product!
I am a college instructor and I purchased these to play the Jeopardy power point game with my students to help them review for each of exams. I divide the students into teams, and the team captain of each team is responsible for hitting the buzzer. The students absolutely love it. It allows me to bring a little fun into the classroom, while helping them prepare for their exams. The sound is plenty loud enough to hear in a classroom with 60 students.

Got these for a home quiz and they are really good. Loud enough if you are all in the same room and battery life good. Added to the fun!
