Is the white tray supposed to be deep enough to touch the water in the green tray? Mine does not reach when I fill the bottom tray.

The roots will grow into the water, you don’t actually want the water touching the bottom of the tray that holds the seeds. The paper between the seeds and the water will stay wet, and until they grow down into the water, you should spray them a couple times a day with water, or even pour a little bit of water on top of the seed after they sprout to keep the paper moist.

What is the measurements of the tray itself without lid? That holds the water? Also the measurement of the one with holes in it height ?

Hello thank you for your inquiry, the green tray that hold the water is 32.7cm in length x 26cm in width x 4.6 cm in height. Whereas the white seed tray is 2cm in height. Hope this helps.
