some nice potted plants for his office window. I was so happy to see how well these were made and even happier I bought these bamboo trays to go with some ceramic planters. They are the perfect size, well made.

I use these for smaller plants or even as a coaster. They add an organic feel, are sturdy and fit on a larger ledge. Lovely.

These are attractive coasters for indoor plants, perfect for preventing pots from scratching the furniture. But they’re not waterproof and if they get wet, so will the furniture.

All brands of bamboo plant saucers have a limited lifespan. Sometimes, after just a single exposure to water, these saucers split and crack. Some last longer than others but all grow mold quickly and require bleach solution to kill the growth and mitigate staining. Alas, bamboo seems to be the only option readily available so I continue to use, and replace, these saucers. It would be heavenly if teak were an option. I’d happily pay the extra cost for wood that’s moisture tolerant.
