I purchased the LickiMat Tuff in both the 'Soother' and 'Playdate' variants along with the 'Indoor Keeper' that you can sit these trays in to stop them slipping around. The product is such a great idea and I wish I had found it sooner! It keeps my Cocker Spaniel occupied for around 30 minutes and is stimulating for his busy mind. The mats seem to be great quality and work perfectly. I use it with yoghurt, peanut butter and berries. Of the two variants I tried, the 'Soother' is definitely my favourite - it keeps my dog occupied for longer and is easy to clean. Both wash perfectly in the dishwasher - the 'Soother' is easy to wash in the sink with a washing-up brush but I find that it is difficult to clean the 'Playdate' version in the sink and no matter how well I scrub it I always find bits missed once it has dried. I've not actually used the 'Indoor Keeper' as I've not needed it, I place the LickiMat on a textile feeding mat already on my kitchen floor and it does not move around at all. I feel that using the 'Indoor Keeper' as well would mean that this would be a second item to be washed-up after use so it just seems unnecessary. Plenty of potential food items to try, this has become part of my dog's daily routine and he loves it! Such a brilliant design and well worth the money for the quality.

Both, us and our dog, are very happy with this lickimat. It is sturdy, so it doesn't bend and flop around like the softer version. We always freeze it with food on and then once finished it goes in the dishwasher. No problems with either and it is still keeping its shape. The colour is lovely and it is the perfect size for both small and bigger dogs. This lickimat is seeing us through all the puppy stages and keeps our naughty pup entertained.

This is the second tuff mat I’ve brought for my staffie, if left unattended he chews it up completely, but this is 10x better than the plain rubber one, as he wouldn’t even have to try and pull off the raised bits or destroy the base so reinforced with a plastic base means I won’t have to replace them as often, he is a super anxious dog and reactive to the front door but doesn’t think twice when he’s got a mat and looks forward to one every day, nobody is more interesting than this mat covered in peanut butter and treats! If they were to design another tuff series, I’d hope they’d make the raised part of the rubber from something a bit tougher because they tear easily And also the + shaped rubber makes it difficult to clean all the nooks and crannies, even in the dish washer All in all, completely worth it though!

Very happy with this lickimat - it's as sturdy as we expected, if not more so, and our (medium-sized) dog loves it! We didn't want to choose one of the lighter weight mats as she usually eats her treats on a carpeted floor (so suction pads wouldn't work) and she's not keen if bowls move around when she's eating from them. This doesn't move when she's licking it, so is perfect - thank you!

I bought this to use with our puppy. I've mostly used (pure) peanut butter (for humans), which he loves. I do find it a bit hard to clean at times though, but it does what it's meant to. My puppy, being an aggressive chewer, has worn down some of the corners, but it's still in one functional piece.

The dog seemed to enjoy licking the peanut butter and cheese flavoured paste and it kept her occupied for a little while. However she had no trouble chewing bits off the mat, so it got damaged during its first use. If you have a strong chewer, your dog will probably be able to chew it up pretty easily. In my opinion it doesn’t really live up to the “tuff” branding and if a company is going to call it’s product tuff then it should be tougher than this. Would suit my other dog who isn’t a chewer

This heavy duty product is well worth the extra cost compared to the normal version. The rubber feet keep it from sliding on the floor, and the robust solid outside makes it really suitable for putting in the dishwasher to be cleaned! This design is a bit more challenging for our dog compared with the grid pattern one, so he takes longer to lick the pate off it. Our dog really enjoys licking food off this, and it helps distract him from other things going on, and extends his eating time. Only use this with pate as an additional part of his food, not with kibble or anything else. This is the second design we have of these mats - highly recommend it!

My pups do like these they keep them occupied for a little while. They are a nice size. However my 11 month old pup managed to chew the sides on both of them on the first day we got them so they are not as heavy duty as I had hoped. I think they would be better with the Likkimat holder to stop pups chewing them.

My pup would chew and ruin all the other lick mats we had, but this one is super durable and lasted through his needle puppy teeth months and now with his adult teeth. Highly recommended!

The LickiMat really worked well. Yogurt (pot set greek style) was best followed by squishing in the mince meat followed by emptying the roast chicken juices onto the mat. Dog breath improvement was surprisingly fast.

It works well for puppies but as they get older and smart. Mine didnt bother after a while. I only use them for freezing dog snacks that keeps them busy for a long period of time.
