These work well and although they feel a little cheap they do the job. Just remember to programme the left, right etc with your laptop and you are good to go. Not a rip off.

Good build quality unfortunately was not compatible with my nes mini would only pause / unpacked when plugged in automatically but then no buttons worked or anything so had to return

We're getting two NES-style gamepads for a price of £3.99. That's like a half of beer per joypad and one should not expect the build quality of a £39.99 joypad. My expectation was clear: I simply wanted the cheapest NES style gamepad with properly functioning buttons which I didn't have to cherish like a Tesla on lease. And relative to that expectation, I cannot find any fault with this product, and in fact once the current pair of joypads breaks down, I'll be very happy to place my second order. The D-pad moves my character in the desired directions, the select and start buttons work as they're supposed to, and A and B buttons work perfectly well. Of course, as many people have pointed out, as soon as you grip the pad, you can tell that it's made of very cheap material. But seriously, do you expect otherwise for your two quids??

Brought these to work with the spectrum but I had to return as they were not compatible but for the price they were great quality

it's ok it works but the B button doesn't work so if you are playing mario or games where you shoot or run it wont work

A set of two very old school simple controllers. They are sturdily built and the buttons are pleasant to press. No complaints here, especially considering the price.

Working absolutely fine on mesen emulator on win11 laptop. Can't find any faults with it for the price.
