Yes, expensive but effective.Doctor told me to get this for an infection on my foot, and it helped to clear it up!Use a bit at a time directly on wound to make the tube last longer.Hope it helps!

This product has been great caring for difficult to heal diabetic foot ulcers. It does not have the texture of a gel as it describes on the box, but is a granular cream containing antimcrobial cadexomer iodine. The "gel" is the IODOSORB "beads", it absorbs fluids from the wound surface and is better used for wet or weeping wounds and prevents microbial biofilm formation. As the gel absorbs wound exudate, iodine is released, killing bacteria and changing color as the iodine is used up so has a built in indicator for when it's time to clean and apply more product.

This is great product. Works great and I have noticed my wounds getting smaller. However, what I am very frustrated about is the price. I order a large tube a couple months ago and was going to reorder when I seen the price almost doubled! I went with a smaller tube to help pay the difference. No reason other than greed!

This is some good stuff! Used this for a sore on my foot. Coupled with collagen it was just the ticket.

Speaking as a Practice nurse in a GP surgery, this is a very good topical treatment for sloughing infected wounds. Use very sparingly. Wash off inbetween reapplications.

Haven't had to use after all. However, was advised by the pharmacist that this is the best product to use on infected leg ulcers, and any deep infection problems externally.

Perfect use for my wound care plan with a stubborn to heal ulcer. Be sure to consult a specialists if ordering for the first time as this prod it isn’t suited for every person or type of wound.

This stuff does nothing but make the problem worse. Better off using liquid iodine.
