The saga.continues, thankfully. HORRIBLY bad cliffhanger ending though.
Good plot, although the characters are not developing/growing much, if at all from prior books. BAD: Seems like the author was told by Amazon to "clean up" his writing, as this book rates barely a PG13, rather than the prior books NC17 type content, and this book DOES SUFFER for the loss of the 'adult' portions. Nice idea to quick sample the various Asian cultures, but it would have been much nicer to figure out just how the spiritual ruler of Japan became so indebted to the CBGs. It kinda seems like Gideon has no one at all he is accountable to; his obedient harem is completely subservient, and anyone else he hurts (or kills) is just brushed off as insignificant. As much as I love the series, it is DECREASING in quality. Maybe the author needs a break, and to pick up the series again after he is mentally ready to do it justice. RECOMMENDED, with mild reservations.

Pretty good series stays pretty good.
Overall, I'm digging the series still. It's a quick, pretty fun read that doesn't get stale. The humor and the powers are great, even if I'd like to see more hardcore uses of them. I'll break it down though;PROS:-The inner thoughts and humor is top notch and I love the references.-Action is unpredictable and the fights are never the same.-The characters and their' personalities are fun and it's nice to see how they interact.CONS:-The battles move REALLY fast with little description of the acts themselves. I usually end up rereading a whole page of battle a few times to be sure I didn't miss a key sentence. (I missed someone dying once.....had to flip back to see when the heck that happened.) I do read pretty fast though....-I'm not as....emotionally tied to the characters as I once was. Many different things really. I'm starting to crave some real conflict or more violence/grit/intensity from the story. There's all these cool powers firing off, but the battle ends up feeling toothless because everything seems to cancel out everything else. (I really like a certain part near the end however!)I want to see where things are going and looks forward to the next books!

More Cherry Blossom Goodness!
Ahh to review an 8th book in a series... what to say? If you've made it this far, then you know you just have to keep going, and this book delivers! The CBG's and CBB continue their adventures in the far east leading them to another cliffhanger ending.Full of Harmon Cooper goodness throughout, great pacing, action and continued superhero sexy fun.Again if you have read this far into the series you just have to find out more about the Gidd'ster and how his adventure is going to continue!Highly recommended!

Excellent as always Harm
OK... you are reading reviews on a book in the middle of a brilliant series. I can only assume you have read the previous books in the series and already know how good this series actually is.Which now begs the question, why are you wasting valuable reading time procrastinating over this purchase.Hit the "Buy Now" button and continue reading already, life is to short and there are far to many good books out there. 🙂

Continuously evolving story, harem with super powered women
Read the first book like a month ago, and just finished this one. Grace, Veronique, Dorian, Stella, Chloe, Ingrid, and Michelle. Each with their personalities and unique powers to match. I like Cooper's writing, it has gotten better since It's a Beautiful Life series. It was nice for the Cherry Blossom Girls to be in Japan in this one, and Gideon and the girls having to hunt down the antagonist in this one. Heck of an ending to this one, Gideon will be a changed man for the worse. Can't wait to see what Cooper comes up with next.

Totally Loved It!
This installment of CBG really puts the author’s skills on full display. The plot arc is compelling, though starting to get a bit complicated, what with new villains popping out of the woodwork while chasing down known opponents. The end of this installment was nothing less than jaw-dropping, though, and all-in-all, a GREAT read. Kudos, Mr. Cooper - you hit this one out of the park!

awesome continuation to this series
I wont spoil it. If you have followed the cherry blossom girls this long you already are attatched to the story and characters, but I will say this book if any is the one that finally ties me into following this tale to the end. You'll have to read it to the end to understand. Growing pains are often most difficult to accept...

Interesting story but it drags
I began this book at the end of last year. I'm just now finishing it. While I enjoy the plotline, the implementation tends to drag the flow down. I would have enjoyed it more if it moved a touch faster
