Perfect fit, perfect function
I love L-Brackets and the Stabil LNZ fits perfectly, clears the battery door and the left side rubber connector doors, and is very well made. The base plate clears the FTZ adapter with no interference. The base plate contains two locating pins that match holes in the base of my Z7, preventing the plate from twisting. Both the vertical and horizontal mating surfaces mate solidly with my RRS Arca-Swiss compatible ball head with no movement.All in all, the Stabil L-Bracket eliminates all of the problems I have had with L-Brackets in the past.I only have one suggestion, that Stabil trade one of the 1/4-20 threaded holes on the side of the L leg for one into the top of the leg, to allow a BlackRapid fastener to snap onto camera straps.

Very smooth and clean finish
Nice smooth edges, well made, screws are cheap need to be better for the price that was paid . Fits perfectly the camera, no complaints except the screws . I would purchase again

Frame flexes in portrait position.
I actually wish this would have worked out. Every aspect was perfect except when you use in portrait mode, the metal is not thick enough and flexes under the camera weight. I have a z6, ftz and tamron 24-70g2. Very disappointing.
