As a dryer vent cleaning kit, this is a great product. I was on the verge of giving it 3 stars but that would be unfair because I use this as a tool in so many other capacities. I had to strip an entire automotive interior for pest cleanup and used this to get into frame holes and air vents. I've also used it for auto detailing and misc cleaning. If you're planning to use it for all of that, don't expect a heavy duty tool that will hold up to much abuse. But, if you're just cleaning your dryer then no issues at all.

Works very well. Hard to believe all that lint is in there.

Mixed results. I wanted to use this to clean the dryer vent pathway on my LG TROMM electric dryer. When the dryer's filter screen is removed, the cavity is much too small for my household vacuum, and none of the attachments I have are long enough to reach down to the bottom of the vent below the filter. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my hopes, though it is good at the basics. PRO: MUCH better than my household vacuum attachments. This is just the right size to clean the area below where the removable filter screen sits. I am constantly getting lint buildup in there. This tool does an excellent job of cleaning that part of the airpath. Another pro: the build quality is good for the price, except for the wire handle. The rubber adapter is very sturdy, and the small diameter hose part is also of good quality. CON: The next stage is the problem. The dryer's vent makes a 90 degree turn towards the back, and I want to be able to clean in there. I hoped that this flexible tube and bendable wire control rod would let me make that turn. Unfortunately, this tool's wire handle is flimsy and very difficult to control. I cannot get it to make the turn from the front area where the removable filter is into the next stage of the vent path that I cannot see into, and where I suspect I may have additional lint buildup that is causing dryer issues. Summary: It does part of the job very well, and part of the job not at all. If you just need to be able to reach down a little further than your regular vacuum tools permit, this may be just the thing. If you're hoping to be able to reach further than that, I don't think this too will help.

this was a great set. It included an adapter for my vacuum which actually fit on my dust buster type vac as the opening is flexible and my dustbuster has an oblong end. It was easier to use than my upright vac but I'm sure it would work with that too. I think my dustbuster is a little weaker so maybe that is why some lint got stuck, but it was not hard to get it out and I can not believe how much I got out. I did not find the metal thing helpful. The tube itself is flexible but firm enough that I think using that metal would have been worse. I did like the brush that was included. I first just used the tube and got a lot and then I used the brush and it loosened up a bunch more and then I was able to vacuum that too. I also was able to put the flexible tube under my washer and dryer. I can't believe this thing was so great. I had gotten one previously which was too wide to fit where it needed to go. This one is like a half inch wide maybe a tiny bit more and it fit down easily into the opening with room to move it around. I think it was about the right length too. If I pulled out my dryer I could prob clean it more from the other side. I may do that at some point. Anyway this thing is great. I think I only paid like $7-8 for it and it was worth that and more. It also does not take a lot of room to store. I can hang it in my laundry room closet so it's handy for when I need to use it again.

I bought this to clean out the dryer lint trap. Mine is very narrow and it's impossible to fit any kind of vacuum tool inside to clean it out. I was skeptical about this product because I wasn't sure it would fit in my lint trap. To my surprise it fit. It didn't fit on one of my vacuums but luckily I have two and it fit on the other. The hose is very flexible so it sometimes is hard to get it to stay in the right spot to vacuum. I wish it came with a mini crevice tool attachement for those hard to reach spots. The hose is also narrow so it did sometimes get clogged from larger pieces of lint and I had to pull it out of the end, but if it was any bigger it wouldn't fit in my trap. The suction power is good but not excellent but it is a small tube and it would also depend on the suction power of your vacuum as well. It was easy to put together. I emptied my canister before I used it to see how much lint it was actually getting out. I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a big amount came out. I will be keeping it. It seems like a good value for the money. At least I won't have to worry about a dryer fire anymore.

I have been having issues getting my screen seated correctly in my dryer for ages. So I bought one of those long soft brushes at the supermarket. The slot is very skinny, with a door keeping it covered, so it is not easy to see. The brush kept bringing up clump after clump without end. So I took the flashlight on my phone and contorted myself to look down the skinny slot. It was scary how much stuff was down there. The brush did not even touch the majority. So, I bought this hose, attached it to my dyson and tried to clean it out. It sucked up a lot, but issues arose because the stuff down there was heavily clumped and the hose kept getting clogged or it would skim over the top of the clumps. The hose just barely fit in the slot and curved one way or the other, so it was hard to guide it where it needed to go. It took an hour, but I was able to clean out everything I could see. I was not able to get this hose down the rest of the way where I could not see. However, what I was able to vacuum out filled the dyson canister to the very top. It was gross. There was even a broken pencil in there. How in the world did a pencil get in there? The screen went in smoothly and seated perfectly. I intend to go outside and open the outside cover to see what I can vacuum out that way using the hose. I am shocked at how much stuff came out. It is not perfect. But the crimping issue from shipping people complained about has been solved. I do not know whether it is possible to make it more capable of breaking up clumps. It worked a lot better when I stuck a long skinny stick down there and swished it around as much as I could to break up the caked in clumps of fuzz and then used the hose to suck them out. I feel like it could be better designed but at the same time, it may be the best thing out there so far.

This was a terrible product. Feel apart (pipe tore when it connected to the attachment) in under two years. Was only used twice a year. Would avoid and find a more robust product.

I had doubts but I have to say this thing works amazing. Dryer vent slot was plugged, put this On vacuum and with the guide wire ith slot was cleaned out within a couple minutes. 10/10

Did exactly what it needed to do. Sucked all the stuff stuck in the dryer. Everyone needs this!
