I purchased the above item and thought it was the best thing I could have done for my 4 year old, so I thought. I must say I even took a liking to it and played with my son chasing it. So as the battery ran low it looses altitude so I charged it at night. This is where the nightmare begins. My wife woke me up stating something was burning in our house. So we got and frantically began searching our home for the source. To my disbelief my wife observed the drone and power cord fried and emitting smoke on our counter. As you can see from the pics our teak counter was damaged but lucky for us teak wood smokes first before catching fire like regular wood. The outcome could have been much worse and caused a house fire or death.
