If I'm not using my own concoction, I'm using TropiClean deodorizing pet spray. I had decided to try a different brand known to be a "groomer's brand" but within 2-3 days, one of my dog's eyes turned red and he was scratching it. I immediately stopped using the "groomer's brand" and looked at the ingredients. There was isostearamidopropyl morpholine lactate (inhibits the buildup of static electricity), diazolidinyl urea (an antimicrobial preservative) and the list goes on. SOMETHING among those ingredients caused an allergic reaction in my dog. TropiClean has NEVER caused an allergic reaction in my dogs and we've been using it for years. Since my dogs are inside dogs, the scent stays on them for a long time. I can't tell you how many times I hear, "Your dog smells so good."
