I've got carbon fiber cages from Zipp on my racing bike (Trek Madone 6.9SSL) and two different models of the Arundel cages. I use the Mandible on my Trek Cronus Ultimate. They are light, rugged, and hold extremely well. I've read complaints about them being too tight but I've not found that an issue. I've used them with several different bottle types with no problems. With my Camelbak Podium Bottles they are perfect, even with the "Big Chill" insulated bottle. Even on rough roads and single track full bottles stay put. Lighter, more minimalist cages like my Zipps are great under most conditions, and perfect on my race bike, but not as secure as the Mandibles on rough roads. I also travel with my Trek Cronus a lot and never worry about the Mandibles getting damaged by the airport baggage guys. Yes, they are costly but you get what you pay for and you aren't going to find good carbon cages for cheap. They are light, tough, durable, and work extremely well. So if you've got a carbon framed bike and want top end gear ... highly recommended.

Arundel are some of the best carbon cages. Not flimsy and thicker carbon than many other brands. As a result, Mandibles hold water bottles well, even on gravel and off-road, so that big bumps don't send your bottle flying. I have a few pair on my other bikes. My only wish is they made them in other colors.

Top quality, clean design, lightweight. With cages finding the right balance between a firm bottle hold, and too much resistance can be challenging. This has a very firm hold, but the flip side is the resistance getting bottles in/out feels a bit excessive. That is better than loosing bottles during a ride however! Overall, happy with it. 5 stars if it had just a little less resistance, but that's nit picking. (I love my plastic Arundel cages, they are purrrfect!)

Best cage I have ever owned. I've had many water bottle cages over the years and this is by far the best. I'm not eager to spend $50 on one of these for its weight. I could care less about the weight. These are very light but the reason I buy them is because they grip the bottles so well. Other brands don't hold the cages well and the bottles pop out or they feel flimsy when you pull the bottle out. No such problem with these. I use them on both my road and mountain bike.

I have ridden with these cages for over 5,000 miles. I often haul my bike behind my car as well. I have never lost a water bottle on the road. I know they are expensive. However, they look pro and work well everytime.

I am using these on my gravel bike and never have to worry about my bottles coming out on rough terrain. plus the bottle is relatively easy to pull from the cage when I want a drink. Plus these cages are super light and look really good.

Best bottle cage I have ever used. It fits my Polar bottles very well so I do not drop bottles even on the rough stuff. The price point it a little high, but these are worth every penny. I also love how they look different from most everything else on the market -- it is another way that my bike can have a unique look.

Have these on every bike I own, worth the money! Durable and never lose bottles.

This cage puts a tenacious grip on my Camelbak bottle. No risk that it will fall out over rough roads. A firm yank is necessary to extricate the bottle from the cage. Not a big issue. The oil slick gloss black finish looks great with my gloss black bike black frame.

No rattles, solid, bottles in, 30-50 km hr removing is SAFE!
