Good movie!
This movie was good for my 10 year old son. He liked the characters and wanted to read the books after the movie.

Overall tolerable for parents
I stupidly introduced my seven year old to Captain Underpants thinking I would encourage his love of reading by introducing a fun book. I sort of regret it because I don't like the poop/pee/fart talk. That said, he loves the books and so I reluctantly let him watch the movie. I thought it would be much worse than it was. I found it tolerable and some of it even amusing. In general, I think it is an appropriate movie for 7-12 year olds, maybe even 6 and not intolerable in terms of the "potty talk." Storyline was workable. Nice to see black and white kids being friends and it isn't about that though. Reasonable critique of what school is like for kids. They movie characters were not as intolerable as the ones in the book, in my opinion.

An unexpected hit
I used to read the Captain Underpants books in elementary school many years ago and always loved them. I remember when this movie came out and I thought it would be OK before seeing it, but never expected it to be as good as it was! This movie is hilarious when I saw it years ago in theaters. I remembered it and had to get it on blu-ray!

DIVERTIDA E HILARANTE A MAS NO PODER

Suprisingly Good
Keep in mind that I am adult, not a kid. This was made for kids, and they should love it.But I found it suprisingly good. Two fourth-grade practical jokers are, among other projects, writing a comic called "Captain Underpants". Their Principal, whose goal appears to be to turn his Elementary School into a concentration camp, is hypnotized and convinced he is Captain Underpants. Hilarity ensues. There is a villain, and Captain Underpants must defeat him. But how, since he has no superpowers?
