Suction is great, love the look, but does not stay suctioned to Stokke Steps tray. It will stick initially, but over time it loses the suction power. It would be okay if you regularly press the plate back down, but you likely do not want to stick your hands in the middle of the plate of food. Works great on regular table.

I spent a long time trying to decide on a plate/bowl with a strong enough suction to keep it from being thrown. After reading a lot of mixed reviews on a lot of different products, we settled on this one. The plate is nice quality and, although it can't go in the dishwasher, cleans very easily. We have not had any issues with any foods staining the plate, either. The one minor improvement would be the suction. At first, the suction is great. When you first press it down, it stays put and (so far) our child has not been able to rip it off despite many efforts. As meal time goes on, though, it begins to lose the suction. This isn't a major issue - more so something to keep in mind or a minor inconvenience. We just reach over and press the plate down again every once in a while throughout the meal to make sure the suction stays put.

I already had the bowl version which we got from Pottery Barn, and it worked great through the first solids and puree stage, and once our kid hit 14 months she was regularly popping it off. Got this plate version which fits perfectly on her high chair. Due to the larger surface area, she can't pop it off and has more space to learn how to use her fork! It is hard work finding baby items that have nice design and aesthetics, so I was so happy to find Avanchy makes this plate, as well as a 3 section plate, which we'll probably get once our kid gets bigger.We use this for most of her meals, but since it's so easy to clean, we'll also use it in between for snacks.Love that it's easy to clean, and the silicone bottom comes off so you can get into the crevices below. Having a child that eats 3 meals + 2 snacks a day while I'm working from home is already difficult enough, and it sounds silly, but having beautiful, functional, easy-to-clean items in the kitchen adds a magical spark to each day!

These are very good quality, suction power is amazing and the plate is so pretty! Also the spoons are awesome! My 1 year old loves using these spoons! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Easy to clean, good suction, and the spoon is perfect for learning. Bonus is when your done you can store/toss the suction bit and you've got yourself a nice charcuterie plate

I just purchased a set of the divided plate, a bowl, a separate flat plate and three stainless steel spoons, all three plates and bowl came with wooden spoon with silicone bottom; which I was hopeful to find all wood spoons but I didn’t.My son is 21months and pretty good with utensils. He loved the stainless steel spoons and he used the plates and bowl well.I purchased all of this about two weeks ago now and we have been using it for 1 week, this morning after breakfast I noticed black dots and a light black tint on flat plate, it is very disturbing to me because I am very aware how to care for wood and bamboo, as we have a lot of it in my kitchen.I’m a stay at home mom, I have one child. Nobody visits because of COVID, my husband helps but I don’t ask him to do dishes, I am certain this plate has been washed IMMEDIATELY after use and also TOWEL DRIED by hand right after CAREFULLY to make sure no water is left!I am ocd about a lot of things, we paid over $20 dollars for a kids plate..I have gone out of my way to care for it and STILL MOLD GROWS.I do have the bowl and the divided larger plate which have not grown mold, YET….I’m really bothered and I want to know if it’s defective or if this will continue to happen if I replace with the same.We do like the plates, the suction is supreme compared to other products and getting away from plastic or even silicone is a huge win for me!THERES NO CONTACT INFO FOR SELLER OR ANY CUSTOMER CARE, SO ALL I CAN DO IS RETURN IT AND ITS SUCH A HASSLE BECAUSE NOW I HAVE TO ORDER SOMETHING ELSE AND THE RESEARCH STARTS AGAIN!A waste of my time, and truly disappointed.

As we are getting out more with our toddler, it’s nice when going to eat places she has her own plate. The suction is amazing and she can’t really pull it up (1 years old) she has pulled it up once, but that was after sitting at the table for 30 mins.We seriously take this everywhere.. Grandma’s, restraints, backyard, main dining table. Very great buy. IBought a second one just to travel with.

The suction on these are great, baby hasn't figured out how to yank them off the high chair tray just yet. Spoons are very wide, too wide for my 1 year old, will have to wait till he is older to use them.

Love the bamboo but utterly useless as the suction doesn’t work. All 4 plates we bought the suction does nothing. Baby pulls it off instantly and it even pops up on its own after about 30 seconds. What a waste of money! I’m very disappointed.

It was kinda expensive for a plate and a bowl. If you go to their actual website it’s actually cheaper. Wish I knew that before buying it here

A bit expensive but love the product! Suction power is really good and prevents spilling food everywhere, the bamboo natural look beats plastic anytime. Must be handwashed and dried which isn't a problem. Only thing is I wish the spoon was a bit smaller.
