Does not show at all. Did the job.
Did the job. Covered the spot and easy to use. I did not use the small spreader that came with the kit because it left streaks. I just used my finger to spread it. I did 2 coats let DRY 24 hours each coat. Just to be safe. On the last coat I dabbed the cloth it came with to give ut some texture. Pretty pleased with it. Will recommend for small patch like mine.

Better than vinyl patches, works acceptably well for pet damage
This worked pretty much to spec - the result is what I expected. The kit comes with everything you need, including plenty of patch gel and white gel to create grays. I did three applications with the spatula applicator & then stippled with the brush to match the texture. The kit includes some backing cloth for larger areas or to cut out & replaced burned portions. The company offers a number of tutorial videos to help with specific scenarios. I was repairing cat claws on the headrest of a leather (Or pleather? Not sure) chair I recently acquired. Claw marks are especially tough because it stretches & distends the material outward with serrated edges. I could have cut the distended portions out and patched a larger area, but instead attempted touch-up with the gel. You can see the color matches and the holes are covered - but in light you can see where the holes were patched. This isn't a huge surprise - nothing will magically make the scars go away, and I could have maybe used a bit less gel. The results shown are from 3 applications to get things evened out, buffing out the edges with rubbing alcohol, and then conditioning it with ArmorAll cleaning wipes. It may continue to look better after some wear & use, but the end result is as good as one can expect. The kit overall is great & I'll make sure to keep it around for other repair jobs.

Good product. Used for dashboard cracks. Good price and the results are better than before.
Not PROFESSIONAL RESULTS. For those who are trying to make repairs on pleather/leather this product is as described. FOR PROFESSIONAL RESULTS have repairs done by PROFESSIONALS. I have an older Lexus 2004 with a few cracks and worn areas in the surfaces of the seats from many years of getting into or out on the driver side. The dashboard was beginning to crack from sunlight damage. I repaired a very small crack and the results were acceptable and better than before. This product was valuable, easy to work with and I’m satisfied with the results I watched hours of methods used in repairing and rejuvenating pleather/leather surfaces. Gotta love YouTube. My surmise is to defer to a professional. For myself I was able to perform only limited repairs and not correct restoration. There is a reason upholstery shops charge as they do for repairs. I gained lots of knowledge but not the ability to make correct repairs. The required technique requires patience and practice especially if blending colors. Not trying to discourage others but sharing my experience My message to others is to temper your expectations. Hopefully this helps. Good luck with your projects.

Not for all types of repairs
Not for all types of repairs. Works on flat surfaces, Less satisfactory results on curved edges.

Easy to use and worked great!
Worked great! Had a cracked area in my driver's seat side cushion from normal wear and tear of getting in and out of my vehicle. This stuff was easy to mix and apply. I just lightly sanded and removed any loose, flaking material and spread this on. I did do several thin coats letting it dry in between each coat. It provides a flexible cover so it shouldn't crack again with continued wear and tear on the area. Since my area was in a pretty inconspicious area, I didn't go to the extra work of trying to match the texture of the leather but it could easily be done if you needed to use it in a more visible area. Very pleased with the color match and how well it covered the crack.

Great product
I used this product to repair a black leather office chair and a tear in the leather of my car. In both cases the repair was easy and nearly impossible to see once the final layer of the product was applied and allowed to dry! I will definitely order this again in the future if needed!

Great Product !
It's not often you buy something and then say "Oh wow, that really works !". This is one of those times. Nicely packaged, easy instructions and simple to use. I had a worn patch on my black leather car seat, it took about 3 minutes to fix and it's as good as new. Just follow the instructions, make sure you test a hidden bit of the seat first, alcohol can be problematic on leather. I used a tiny bit of 400 grit paper to clean around the edges. The fix is perfect, I waited a day and used leather cleaner on the whole seat, you can't see where the fix is. A great product, for a very reasonable price, highly recommended.

Will it work
Very easy to use. Used black right out of tube. Leather driver's seat is 23 yrs old. Just wanted to keep it from getting worse. I am happy. It does not look perfect but should be fine for my use. I could have feathered it with more layers (3) but it was not necessary. The PVA glue should hold it from further damage. Spatula was handy to insert the fabric backing into the larger tear. Adding the Coconix compound to the fabric and inside the leather was easy. It is a bit lumpy and I am okay with that. Smoothing would take more time than the project was worth to me. There are other similar products out there but Coconix is just fine with me. I was worried about how fast it would dry but it is summer and the car was hot inside so it dried in short order.
