eh set. one ball is a little bigger than the other, and that same ones batteries dont fit snugly so when they smack together it goes out, but ive wedged a piece of paper in there between the cover and the batteries.. and it seems to be working fine now so ill keep them. probably good for begginers not good for fancy moves. knots and swivel hooks get caught together. modes are basic. id only gift poi to someone who knows how to use them.plur on fam✌

Get it--you won't regret it!
One of the light switches won't stay on. But the result is still outstanding. This is still very easy to use, very inexpensive, and very versatile.

70/30
70 being the price is good and the lights are super bright they are extremly durable for the most hardcore performances excluding fire andthe multiple modes make for a verry interesting everchanging show that stuns all the people the 30 is that if its cold or they hit they stop working anot permanantly but it still mucks things up I bought another pair and it has the same defect my buddy got some and he said the same thing but hey mahn thier verry high qualityfor cheap they even glow under a blacklight and that dosnt require batteries all and all I would recomend em.

They'll work great, for like 2 weeks, and then they die.
So I have bought 2 pairs of these LED poi. The first pair back in Jan as a birthday present to myself and then the other in June as a replacement. If you are curious as to why I needed a replacement that is a good question. After just a few months use one of the poi stopped turning on. I thought maybe because I'm a newb that it was my own error. I decided a few weeks later to buy the second set. In the mean time i practiced without the lights and had gotten the hang of things. New pair comes and all is ok. For two weeks. And then one of the poi completely stops working. So I know what you are thinking. Well you had two pairs, just use the working poi from each set, which for now I am, but should I have to? This product is clearly defective and it's not user error. Changing of batteries and caring for them according to their manufacturing specifications isn't working and neither is their product. They may be cheap but don't waste your money.

Right on
Fast shipping the batteries kinda get loose if it hits something but it’s easy to push back in. Got what I was expecting

get what you pay for
They work but you have to slam them against your hand to turn them on and off sometimes. The battery case on one of the balls is impossible to open. I stripped the screw trying to get it to open. When the battery dies I will have to replace the entire ball. You get what you pay for...

Great product - lots of fun!
I bought a set of these for myself and for my son, who volunteer to entertain kids at a local Roots & Blues festival every year. I saw them last year and they are a fantastic spectacle at night, especially where there are a group of people using them. They have good weight to them, so are easy to use. I like the finger grips as well. The poi themselves are made of a durable soft plastic, and stand up to the task they are meant for well. As novice poi users, the poi tend to run into a few things as you learn how to become fluent with them (noggans, knees, and innocent by-standers lol), but they are soft enough to withstand the dings and keep working, and don't cause bruises when you bonk them into your body when learning. On the 'con' side, the batteries in them ran out less than a month after I purchased them (and I only used them 4 or 5 times for short periods), so I hope this is not an indication of the usual battery life. The other suggestion I would make is that the leads (or strings) be replaced with a stronger yet still flexible material. The best ones I have seen have a fine metal chain for the leads and are more sturdy and flexible.I found them online just before Christmas, and didn't think they would arrive on time, however they were delivered in plenty of time to make it under the tree.Overall - great product, service and delivery!
