Krups Parts MS-0907124 Tank Receiver Seal

I bought a Genio 2 at a charity shop for a tenner. Unfortunately, it leaked terribly from the base and also from the cartridge holder. I ordered a new tank seal and a new injector plate thingy and the machine is now leak free. This tank seal is slightly different to the black one that I removed and provides a much tighter seal. If your tank is leaking, I highly recommend it - less than £4 including delivery with Prime.

Easy to fit and works a treat.

Great value instant repair to the leaking water tank. Easy to “fish-out” with a small flat head screwdriver - no disassembly required! Simply lift the water tank off the coffee machine, “hoik” the old seal out and insert the new one. Just ensure it’s the right way up - the two wings facing down, like an inverted “U”. Best to allow 12-24 hours for the seal to be properly seated, with the tank inserted or lifted off a couple of times for the seal to properly “bed-in”. Thereafter, it should be fine! Most probably this seal is better than the original. Time will tell!

Doesn't leak anymore

Effective cure to leaking machine. Opening the unit to fit was slightly nerve-racking but with a little patience all accomplished without problem. Popped new seal in and closed up ..... job done!

This was so easy to fit and now my coffee machine is up and running again. Originally I thought I was going to have to buy a new machine right before Christmas. So pleased that it was simple to fix.
