Overall a solid choice!
There are a mixture of ups and downs with this pod filter, but overall once you have the filter installed it works just fine and seals well! I just finished a 300+km road trip half an hour before I started writing this review, and I have some things to note about this pod. The vehicle I tested this pod on is a 250,000km 2007 Honda Fit LX 5-speed manual. (Unrelated, I put the stock battery tiedown back on after this photo, don't worry its not gonna fly around)The packaging was fairly plain, about what you expect for a budget oriented short-ram intake, and appears as though it's a hodge-podge of other parts shoved together in a box for you to buy as a kit. No problems from me there, except this introduces problem number one for those who are doing this as a first mod for their car with little knowledge; No instructions. Absolutely none. Thankfully for the Fit this isn't a huge problem to figure out, but it would be a nice touch to add.The next issue I encountered is the metal elbow's barb fitting, which is plastic. While mine did not break, the stock vent hose does not come with clamps because it's intended to pressure-fit on both the engine and intake sides, which is a little scary to put so much force on. I also found that if I had the barb facing upward the hose was too long, and I didn't feel like trimming down the hose and having to store a random blue hose in the back of my car, so I decided to orient the metal elbow with the hose facing downward so I can route it as shown in the photos. Works perfectly fine for crankcase-venting.The third, and BY FAR THE ABSOLUTE LARGEST PROBLEM with this intake, is the 3 hoseclamps that come with it. They are VERY cheap and prone to falling apart...after I took this photo I replaced the clamp on the throttlebody itself with a spare I had laying around and the original clamp broke into pieces halfway through unscrewing it. If you are buying this kit, do yourself a favor and go grab some hoseclamps of the same size from a store instead of messing with the stock ones. They will bend and break if you tighten them too much.Other than that, once the pod was installed on the vehicle I found it sounded exactly as you would expect a short-ram Amazon intake to expect and I am absolutely pleased with it so far! On the highway it will drone a little bit when going up hills, though that's normal for a shortram intake of this nature, and I noticed the air intake temperatures were hovering around 1c to -1c with an ambient temperature of -8c average during the roadtrip. A couple of installation notes to include as well though; Be mindful not to allow the silicone to bow inward when you're installing the intake air temperature sensor into the silicone elbow at the throttlebody, or else the sensor will not seal correctly and can cause you a vacuum leak you don't want to deal with. Also, notice the battery I'm using in the photo is a 51r instead of a 151r...that's right, you can successfully clear a 51r with this intake and not rub a groove in the side of the battery in the process, which is why I originally bought it! (I also found 2 extra metal brackets with seemingly absolutely zero reason for being included with this intake, so they were omitted from installation, but if I had instructions I think I could figure out what they're supposed to do. The intake holds itself up just fine regardless of this.)Overall, I would recommend this pod as long as you have some basic know-how with what you're doing and purchase 3 of your own hoseclamps instead of using the included ones. I'm not guaranteeing its going to be helpful if you're running a built L15A1 instead of a bone stock one like mine, but it does enough for what its worth and I couldn't be happier!

It’s okay
No bad for the price of it, easy to install. Only downside is that the filter is starting to melt which I knew was going to have to be replaced with a K&an one eventually. Overall not bad
