QUALITY
Its pretty good quality for what you pay for. Please measure the diameter (thickness) of the bar you plan to mount it on. My bar was too small and the mounting brackets were a little too big. I had to improvise rubber cushions to fill the gap but even though I made sure it was tight, this attachment would either move back and forth due to the vibration during the ride. It wouldnt stay gripped in place. Not that the product is faulty, just do your part and make sure it fits your handle bar. Overall, this is a good product. Giving it a 5 star on their part. Quick ship!

A much needed addition to my crowded handlebars
This thing is awesome. My e-bike came with several things already mounted on the swept back bars that have enough curves in them that I couldn't put much more on them. I added this extension and easily added a phone holder, speaker and light. It doesn't stick out and get in the way, it just looks like it belongs there. It's lightweight and attaches easily. I bought a second one for another regular bike and it works perfectly well there too. If you're tight on handlebar real estate this is a perfect solution. I will advise you to take a little care when mounting as you can scratch the extension bar, just be sure to loosen the screws on the mounts before sliding the bar through and you should be fine.

Great bar, mounting spacer just....meh.
I was a little surprised when this turned out to be real carbon fiber. It is very light weight and strong. My only problem was installation. The spacers used to fit this to different bar sizes are a little cheap and not well suited to the task; at least not for my handlebars. You might get lucky and have just the right size but I had to mess with this and use varying layers of gaffer's tape to get it to fit tight.

Low end material, poor design, but you can get it work
This extender would work better on a mountain or comfort bike with a straight handlebar than on a road bike, because the aluminum tube is a little too long for a 42" or 44" drop handlebars (the extender may get in the way of your fingers when you move between hoods and other two standard positions on a road handlebar). However, if needed, it is easy to cut the tube to length. Installation on 31.8 mm diameter handlebars (which is a standard diameter these days) requires that one uses a thin plastic insert, provided with the extender. Without the insert, the clamp is too loose. With the insert, though, it is hard to get the screw through the hole and into the threaded side of the clamp. The hole of the screw is narrow and long, so it is very directional; if the hole in the upper part and the threaded hole in the bottom part are not well aligned, which unavoidably happens with the insert which kind of opens up the clamp, the screw does not want to go into the thread. The hole should have been oval in shape, or a larger diameter. A metric Allen wrench (if I remember correctly, 2.5 mm) is provided, but both the wrench and the screws are poor quality, metal is soft and hex-shaped opening is easy to damage if you accidentally tighten it a little too much (and there is not much distance between "not enough" and "too much"). The quality of black coating on aluminum tube is poor, it is very easy to scratch off. Well, this can be fixed with a black permanent marker, sort of. I bought two extenders, and one had a scratch from the get-go. I used them to build a keyboard holder for an indoor bike trainer, and I eventually made them work for my purpose, even though I felt on several occasions that I may damage the parts or screws while tightening them, because they are so easy to damage.

cost affective way to add more stuff to your handlebar
I mount several phones and a camera to my handle bar, it couldnt be done with out this unit. its simple and it works, also it doesnt cost much, its made out of aluminum also, you can make adjustment out in the field if you need to, by the nature of the design

Nice bar, but takes some attention to get installed
I really like this bar. It took several attempts to get it secured so that it didn't slip. The spacers that come with it are smooth nylon and no matter how much you tighten the screws, it will slip. So after reading other reviews, I used a piece of bike tire tube either between or in place of the spacer, AND double stick tape. I wrapped the handle bar with double stick tape, covered it in a single layer of rubber tubing, covered that in double stick tape, etc. You can build it up as thick as you need to fit your handlebar. Just make sure you put the tape between each layer and the tubing is soft enough to compress such that you can get a really good grip. That keeps each layer from slipping. Now it does not slip AT ALL. The bar raises my headlight higher up so I get a better angle and thus better illumination, and my phone is higher up as well so I can see it without having to lean over.

Worst expense ever
Don’t waste your time/money. Piece of junk. 1. Screws are too short and strip too fast so you can’t turn them 2. The plastic extenders don’t stay in place and do not fit together. 3. The 3 sticky holders aren’t enough as you need four. 4. The little bar is actually too narrow and doesn’t fit property as you need extenders but it still doesn’t work. Don’t buy this junk. It’s actually made in China junk! It took 2 hours to try to make this work on my utility cart for this weekend. See the pictures as I had to add a fosm insert to the outside of the holder so it would work. I’ll use this makeshift handle for weekend then I’m returning the broken stripped screw with the rest of the junk. I do DIY such as change my own floors and electrical so it’s somewhat easy to figure out how to install. The issue is it just doesn’t work and align. Adding update from my weekend 1 time use of the extender. Well both metal holders snapped in half. This item does not work for a utility cart or cart. Can’t see how it would work for anything.
