Sometimes I fall asleep mindlessly browsing amazon. Boy was I surprised to see this little guy at my door. I can only imagine that I dozed off, accidentally adding this cat toy to my cart and didn’t notice when checking out. I thought it may have been a mistake by amazon accidentally sending me something? But when I looked through my purchase history, yep, righttttt there 🤦🏻‍♀️ANYWAYS, my cats freaking love this toy. Hell I love this toy. This is probably the best cat toy I’ve bought thus far. I have a plethora of interactive cat toys, noisy ones at that. I can’t stand the obnoxious toys that make sounds and lights. Luckily, my two boys get bored of them very quick. This one is quiet and turned into hours of play time. When I put it away they ran around searching for it. Listen, if you put the two feather magents in at the same time, they will probably get stuck together at some point. I just sat with my kitties to unstick them and or only put one in at a time and it was fine. Not that big of a deal.Don’t think about it, just make the purchase already! Worth the price overall. Maybe I should purchase things in my sleep more often!

I'm sorry but I just don't understand how there are so many mixed reviews on this product and how it has 4 stars after reading those reviews! This so called cat toy doesn't do anything. It's extremely noisy and the 2 so called interactive pieces inside of it that were supposed to move and jump around, DON'T. If this product did anything at all, it scared my 3 cats due to the noise it made and then when the 2 pieces inside get stuck together that noise amplifies that I can't stand listening to it. I tried doing as one of the other reviewers mentioned they were going to try, removing one of the 2 pieces so they couldn't get jammed up, but that didn't improve anything. No where in the directions does it advise whether to use just one or both pieces inside, and in the video I'm pretty sure it shows both pieces at the same time inside of the product. I tried using just 1 of the 2 pieces inside but that too got jammed up on the edge of the device, that it wouldn't move around unless I moved it. It's almost like the magnets on the bottom of the pieces are TOO strong, meaning they can't move around freely to do what the designer had intended. Not once did it move away from the edge/wall on the inside of the device, let alone jump around or remotely get the attention of my fur babies. So disappointing, yet another pet product being shipped back due to not working as advertised. I didn't spend over $32 to waste my time getting something I purchased for my fur babies to work. I had hoped it would actually move and jump around as described, because my cats would have loved it. I think they had the right idea in mind when creating the product, but there's unfortunately a major design flaw in regards to functioning the way it was intended to...... Just a little background about my cats, the 3 of them are adult cats (between ages of 8-10 years old) but they do play, and 2 of them do not scare easily (by things such as toys), they do have a ton of toys (manual toys, electronic, laser, wireless, homemade even) and almost all of their toys get their attention in some way, whether it's only a few minutes or 2 hours. But none 1 of my 3 fur babies are even curious about this product, as they leave the room due to the noise and no movement to peak their interest. Only reason I gave this 2 stars rather than 1 is the product is cute and the idea behind it is great (just doesn't work as designed to).

She also said she'd sent my opinions " back to our product design department and production department."She further advised me to use only one feather at a time in this toy, because "if two feathers are put in, they will stick together and can not work properly."I don't know how to keep my cat from losing the feathers of the replacement toy within minutes, although using one at a time might slow the process down.But I am impressed with SOMNIA's integrity. So, I am amending my review from 2 stars to 4.I strongly recommend that SOMNIA:1) include several feathers with the toy, instead of two,2) inform purchasers not to place more than one feather in the toy at a time, and3) make replacement feathers available.This is a great toy; it just becomes useless quickly without its feathers.__________________________________________________________My cat Nox is part oriental shorthair, and super smart, so he gets bored so easily. Then he wanders around making eerie-long, loud, existential laments—and I work at home. So, I strive to keep him stimulated and challenged. He has a tunnel toy, and a pyramid-like thing containing balls in tracks that he can bat to make them travel in their orbits. He plays with these every day. He also has a Trixie Activity Board, which makes him strategize to get to treats. And he insists I play fetch with him, using water bottle tops, every day.He was initially wary of this toy, even though it was off when he first saw it. But he was curious immediately, and overcame his wariness pretty quickly to start playing. (I am glad it was off at first. Had it been on, I don’t know how much warier he would have been.)I’m not positive, but I’m pretty sure I saw him reach his arm all the way in through a hole, get startled by one of the toy’s sounds or movements, leap back, and catch his arm in the toy in the process. I’m not sure what to make of that. He seemed fine afterward, and still happy with the toy.The next thing I knew, he had removed both of the pieces that move around inside the toy, and these pieces were nowhere to be seen. I did eventually find one, but the other is lost.An upside to this toy is that he does play with it when it’s off—as long as there’s still a piece inside for him to try to get at—which is great, as I am not a fan of electronic toy sounds. Then I can occasionally turn it on for him to have an extra fun session.A downside is that it takes him moments to get the one remaining piece out and then, game over. Also, this second piece will soon be lost as well.I want to give this game a higher review. I really do. It’s a clever toy, and does attract his attention. He loves it, even. But I’m clearly not going to be able to keep track of the one remaining piece; I doubt it will last long. I don’t see an option to buy replacement parts, either.
