UNABLE TO JUDGE ITS EFFECTIVENESS BUT IT SURE IS NICE TO HAVE ON HAND WHEN MAINTENANCE TIME ROLLES AROUND. PURCHASED TWO JUST TO HAVE ON HAND INSTEAD OF GOING INTO TOWN AND LOCATING IT. IF YOU HATE ROUNDING UP TOOLS OR MATERIALS WHEN IN THE MIDDLE OF A JOB,, IT WILL SERVE YOU WELL BY SIMPLY PUTTING A BOTTLE ON THE SHELF AND "BINGO", YOUR ALL SET. needed to top off oil in my compressor
I recently had a compressor I owned for several years start to trip my receptacle power panel breaker. This caused me to research that the large start up and run capacitors may wear out and prevent the compressor from running and the compressor could start to trip breakers. I thought let me try to replace these and see what happens. The capacitors are about 15-20 dollars a piece or I could buy a new compressor for at least $100. Worth a shot. Replaced the start up capacitor and it works correctly now. While I had it apart I noticed it was just a little low on oil so purchased this and topped it off.

I got an old air compressor. like all compressor owner we neglect them but abuse them!! once a year I always clean the air filter and change the oil. I always use this oil in my little 2 cylinders extreme duty air compressor and never got any issue ! I own the same air compressor since 2002! And to this day it goes like new !! I think the oil certainly has something to do with that long trouble free period of time!
