There is basically no documentation provided with this bulb. Most bulbs have pertinent info stamped or screen printed on the base. Not this bulb, nothing, zilch. Does come in a plain cardboard box with a little sticker saying it’s 12W, 300OK but no manufacturer or contact info. Doesn’t give a lot of confidence that the manufacturer stands behind these bulbs.Also, the design for the electrical connection is a little shoddy. When you loosen the screw to attach your wire, a piece of brass that’s normally soldered to the back of the bulb (at least on all halogens I’ve ever used) is just a loose piece that you have to line back up as your tightening the screw (and trying to hold your wire terminal in place so it doesn’t slip out). Not a huge deal but again, for the premium they get for LED bulbs, should be designed better.Now the good. The all glass design is just like a halogen landscaping bulb which means it’s thick and should be very durable getting bumped around. And the brightness is outstanding. I was using 36W halogen bulbs and these are easily twice as bright. Finally, since I’m cutting the watts by two thirds, I can easily add a couple more lights without fear of overloading the transformer.Hopefully the 3 times the price of halogens will be offset with 3 times the life (I’m getting 2-3 years out of the halogens and am replacing them with LED’s as they burn out). These are the first LED landscape bulbs I’ve purchased. Hopefully Hyperikon or one of the other big names will start making these.Edit: One of the bulbs has already stopped working after 8 months. I’m not dropping my rating because the manufacturer was so responsive (same day) and agreed to send me a new one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Quality control is not quite there. *by B***G on Reviewed in the United States on September 22, 2021* Quality control not so great. So far so good. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Not recommended *by E***G on Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2022* I installed 7 of these bulbs less than a year ago and 1 burned out several months ago. Since these were sold 2 to a pack, I had an extra one from my original purchase so I replaced the burned out one with the extra bulb. Then another bulb burned out a few weeks ago. Since these lights are being used for landscape lighting on my house, I wanted to make sure I replaced the bulb with exactly the same lighting as the other 6 remaining lights so I made the mistake of buying another 2 pack. One burned out the first night so I installed the other light the next night and it also burned out the first night. The manufacturer claims these bulbs will last 20,000 hours and now I've had 4 of the 10 lights to burn out in less than a year (my average use of the bulbs is about 4 hours/night). My landscape lights were installed a dozen years ago, so this is not new equipment that might have been installed improperly. I checked the voltage on all 7 of my lights on the circuit and they ranged from 10.7 volts to 11.0 volts - all less than the 12 volts the bulbs are rated for. Needless to say, I am now going to use lights from a different manufacturer.UPDATE: Another of the original bulbs has burned out.
