They're a little bit spicy for me, but good taste. The major issue is some of them still have their legs. These often get stuck in my teeth. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Flavor is great, but a bit pricey for insect protein, don't you think? *by J***F on July 29, 2024* I love the flavor of these. Like shrimp and potato chips got together and had a love child. Every time I am in Mexico, I seek these out. But riddle me this: if insect protein is an inexpensive, eco-friendly alternative that can save the world, then why does insect protein still cost the same, if not more, than the same amount of protein made from cows? This stuff should be cheap, cheap, cheap but it ain't. Food for thought about something that is bugging me. (You see how I did that?) ## Frequently Bought Together - Chapulines Oaxaca (grasshoppers) - Gourmet edible insects from Oaxaca Mexico 30 G - 1.06 Oz (Seasoned) - Chapulines Oaxaca (grasshoppers) - Gourmet edible insects from Oaxaca Mexico 30 G - 1.06 Oz (Salt and Lemon) - Erbies Edible Bug Mixed Trail Mix, 15g Bag, Seasoned and Crunchy Insects, Crickets, Grasshoppers, Silkworm Pupae, and Sago Worms, Protein Packed Unique Snacks, Fun Snacks Gift Idea, 1-Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/144147311-chapulines-oaxaca-grasshoppers-gourmet-edible-insects-from-oaxaca-mexico-30](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/144147311-chapulines-oaxaca-grasshoppers-gourmet-edible-insects-from-oaxaca-mexico-30) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
