I use this along with an air cleaner in my bedroom. Air cleaner on one side of the room and this here over near my door. If you purchase two of these, you’ll block out all sound from neighbors lawnmowers or just your own dogs that may bark. It also drowns out all outdoor noise, such as rain, thunderstorms, etc. the loudest volume is pretty loud and you probably don’t want it sitting right next to your bed on the highest volume setting! These are the loudest little white noise boxes that I found so far. They just plug-in that’s it. You have continuous that shuts off when you shut it off or you have the timer. I’ve had this for quite a while now and it works perfectly. I’ve never had an issue with it , I purchased one for my son’s room also. I cannot sleep in a total silent room or with just something real low. It has to be loud enough to drowned out any other possible noises. I like that this unit has one of the sound features that pairs up almost exactly with my council air cleaner that’s in the room also! Now it just sounds like I have two huge air cleaners going! So I sleep like a baby. And this is small enough you can pack it in a suitcase or even carry it in your purse if you’re going to stay at a relatives house or going to be in a motel or travel. These are wonderful well well worth the price! I would purchase again and probably will, as I’ll purchase one to put in my dogs Sleeping room, So they don’t bark over every little sound! Lol

Lots of options, but not so many that it would be confusing. Timer, different sounds, adjustable volume…I use this every night to help block DH’s snoring. Not sure I could sleep well without it!

I use this to provide masking for night sounds. Basically, brown or white noise is fine. Volume is fine. Can't imagine trying to sleep with some of the sounds but each person is different. My biggest complaint is that although the directions say that if all the timer lights are off - it will run continuously. It does not. It shuts off after 3 hours - period. Otherwise, it works as described. If you read the directions, you can shut off the lights, but you have to do it every time you turn it on so that means every 3 hours which can interrupt sleep to make it happen.

Bought this since I was borrowing my mom’s and she needed it back so I was on the hunt for a new one. I sleep so much better with this one vs her well known brand. I’m a frequent night awakener due to anxiety, being a light sleeper in general, and living in an apartment and I’ve noticed I’m waking up much less with this product. The multiple sound options are wonderful and the tone of the one I chose seems to drown out more outside vehicle noise. I would highly recommend this to someone living in the city by high traffic. The small size packs a punch and doesn’t take up much room on my nightstand. No looping sounds what so ever. The memory option is wonderful so you just set it to the sound and timer setting you prefer, then just press the power button and it defaults to the last setting. I have a very busy schedule so being able to just press a button and fall into bed without fussing with the settings every night is a huge plus. Definitely recommend!
