ISOP Window Hooks for Fire Escape Ladders, 2 Hooks

We recently had a fire on our island that killed two and left four other family members hospitalized. Some jumped from a second story window, and children were left to go through their memories and spend their lives without a mother and little sister. Our 40 year old son (who has a 9 year old child) was traumatized just from the photos and the news, and his is the reason we began looking for an escape ladder and bought all new fire alarms. Homes on our island are built a full story above ground, so our top living space is actually 4 stories high. We bought the ladder that will reach from there to the ground, and with it, these hooks. Before purchasing, we researched several models online, and several on Amazon, but this one looked the most solid and simple to use. We also purchased the large, over-the-window-sill hooks, and a child harness, both to store with the ladder. Everything arrived extremely quickly, and we are pleased with the apparent quality. As I said in my opening, the best case scenario will be "never to use this", but thanks to its reasonable price and clearly thought out design, we're as prepared as a family can be! We urge you to do the same for your family!

Purchased with a ladder for easy escape from a fire. Very good quality and gives great peace of mind. Even though we hope we will never use the product it is such a comfort to know they are available if needed.

Liked this product as easy to use, sturdy construction. The loops for attaching the safety ladder were not closed so it was possible for the ladder attachment to possibly slip off!

The product looks phenomenal. Sturdy looking hooks and the rope ladder is of a high quality. Hopefully myself or nobody near me ever has to use it but it’s sitting in an upstairs lined closet just in case we need a window escape. A quality product. Thank you.

Putting it to work today, will see how well the work.

In my case, it was no way to attach the ladder to a window without this hooks. Its perfect for fire escape through window.

Perfecto en todo pero no te servirá para ventanas con poyete grande. Hay que mirar bien las medidas.

S'accroche parfaitement au rebord de la fenêtre, parfait avec l'échelle corde

Well built and larger than expected. Should the need arise, very confident these will do the job as intended.

This is sturdy and fit for purpose if – and this is a BIG IF – it fits! I have a windowsill, and the size of the hook is too small to fit over both the window frame and this window sill. I checked back, and no measurements are given for this diameter. So for me, these hooks were a complete waste of money. Not only that, I now have to find someone to drill holes in the wall for hooks in order to use my safety ladder. This omission is not only annoying and costly, but a safety concern. I was very disappointed, as I was trying to ensure safety without needing to employ someone to do the drilling, something I'm not qualified to do myself to the standard required to bear the weight of an adult human.

Die Haken sind gross jedoch für unsere breite Terrassenbrüstung nicht ideal. Für uns wäre es besser die Haken wären 90Grad gebogen und nicht rund!
