Vite et bien niveau 1 + CD audio + corrigés 2ème édition

I used this text for my French for Beginners (I and II) community ed. course. It builds nicely, not starting with verb tenses but with what any traveler needs to know how to say and understand; it is current and meaningful in every way. The students really did enjoy it and use it on their own: great text.

Lots to be reviewed/learned in this book. Not for rank beginners as it is 100% written in French. If you are an advanced beginner or intermediate student, this will likely work for you. The CD is very useful to hear correct pronunciation of words and intonation in conversations.

I have it so hard to find the right curriculum for my students and discovered this one while in Paris in April. This is the best teaching tool for adults who desire to learn french. It is very well done. Thank you for making it available in the States.

Muito bom o livro e chegou antes do esperado

Ich benutze das Buch als Französischlehrer im Erwachsenenunterricht. Es trifft genau die Bedürfnisse der erwachsenen Lerner. Die Lektionen sind übersichtlich strukturiert, die Themen sind ausgewogen und praxisgerecht. Der Wortschatz entspricht der gehoben Umgangssprache, so dass der Lernstoff gleich in der Praxis eingesetzt werden kann. Die Audioaufnahmen sind sehr authentisch: eine ältere Dame hat eine ältere Stimme, ein Patient hat eine verschnupfte Nase. Da die Texte von Anfang mit muttersprachlicher Geschwindigkeit gesprochen werden, hilft mir im Unterricht eine App, mit der ich die Geschwindigkeit reduzieren kann.
